So far X no big glitches that I have came across. Big map, about as big as AC2. More options for roaming after completion. Riding horse takes a little practice and changing guns is not a quick button hit. Looking at the games you like to play in the past on this thread this may end up being your favorite.
Oh, and it may almost be time to start another thread.
Iron Man 2 would have been a great jump off.
I guess I’ll wait for something else unless they shut the thread down first.
I’m getting sick and tired of FPS’s. It boils down to a bunch of pussy ass kids who want to be Rambo, but aren’t man enough to join in real life.
Same shit over and over for the past 2 years. At least in Halo, I’m dealing with Aliens and its sci-fi.
I’m becoming more and more like X.
Who here watches Fringe?
How are they doing in ratings?
I have only seen the first season on blue ray but I am waiting for the second. I don’t watch much tv so I never catch this stuff when it shows the first time.

I doubt there is much more irritating in the world than trying to play a game with screaming immature 14 year olds over the internet.
I have enough kids in that age range as patients. I definitely don’t want to spend my free time with the post-Hanna Montana crowd.

Dont play online Wol. I love FPS’s but they have gotten a little stale. Most of the big games are now geared towards online play. Probably why lately I have moved to more open world third person games. Cause I cannot stand losing to a 14 year old kid that has no life but gaming and school (if they go to school)
LOL…that’s some ridiculous shit right there.
If anything, it sounds like you simply can’t take losing like a man.
I do hope the new COD has some options for multi-play i.e. no noob tube or snipers.
Megan Fox no longer in Transformers 3? Say it ain’t so…

I just mute everyone unless its someone I know

Please tell me the map’s fucking massive. How big in terms of the gta games?

Wol doesn’t lose… he cheats.
You guys aren’t getting me. I don’t mind the douchebag little kids or the douchebag old people. I’m getting bored with FPS’s. Halo, Modern warfare, Battlefield, etc. Same shit over and over. At least halo has a sci-fi aspect.
Aliens vs Predators was a great game because you didn’t have to be a Gun toting marine. You could be a Predator who could gut you with his claws or throw a combat disc at you. Or play an Alien that can climb the walls and sneak up behind you and bite your skull clean off.

Yes fucking massive played again last night for about 3 hours. You are on a horse, so we are not talking speed here. Some of the missions seems like you are riding for a fucking hour. There are wanted posters you can take as a mission. I chased this one fucker for a good 10 minutes at a full gallop.

You gave me exactly what I want to hear. Thank you.
You must understand that, coming from England and being used to generally quaint and smaller settings, the prospect of experiencing (even in game) something as vast as this game seems to promise, is an excellent prospect.
Ever since I flew over and went to the grand canyon and yellowstone and drove through those long straight roads last year, I’ve wanted nothing more than to go back.
As I can’t afford to go back yet, this game will substitute. Plus, in real life, I don’t get to chase wanted men on horseback.

Believe me I understand I grew up in Texas and I cant even fathom living in a non-rural setting. But this game is all it has been promoted. Hell the first night I didnt even know how to do the “dead eye”. Take my advise stay at the ranch at the beginning and do all the missions you can from there first.

One day I’m going to check go to Texas actually - it is on the list. Until then, Red Dead.
Also, stick to the Ranch first. Thanks for the tip.
18 hours to go.

Big news of the day for tech heads:
“Google is done playing catch-up. Today they’re setting the agenda: With Android Froyo, Google TV, mobile ads and streaming media, Google isn’t just matching Apple - they’re taking the lead.”
They announced Google TV which looks seriously cool, a major update to their Android Mobile OS and a few other cool upcoming features.
I like Google as a company, and I’m happy to see them moving in this direction.
