Just started the batman game a couple of days ago. Lots of hidden “Joker” things to find. My son is farther into the game but he loves it so far. I do like the slow motion fighting and the graphics are well done too. It might get a little tiresome fighting in the same environement though. I haven’t had time to even check out the story line…laying cement for a porch and of course football started.

Great game. It has to be one of the best in a long time, especially since I HATE first person shooter games. If you are going to BUY one, this would be the one to get.

Personal note…I think I use detective vision too much. I may play it again without it at all.

Fuck damn shit cock whore of a politician.

Beat on normal, went through hard working on the E Nigma cheevo, and finding out what a “hard” fight really is when you’re only human, and I get a CORRUPT SAVE! I didn’t turn off the console while saving, at any point. Nor at the retry/quit.

God damn. I was back to the room with the Titan and 10,000 Blackgate rape survivors.

You hate FPS?!! 90 percent of games are FPS’s! 1992 is over, X. Sonic the Hedgehog and Streets of Rage are dead, sir. Join us.

Fuck FPS. It is just an excuse to play games with 14 year olds over the internet. I get that enough here.

I like shit you have to think your way through. God of War is pretty damn close to perfection on that end and games like The Dark Knight are fun for the same reason. I just never got into them and there has to be more than “aim and shoot” going on for me to be into a game like that.

True. True. I just like being able to shoot people and not go to jail.

I used to play Madden, but if you play that with enough people, there’s gonna be a fight.

That’s my general consensus with games. The only FPS games I like are ones that have a twist to them. I get bored otherwise, very quickly - even when playing with friends.

RPG’s, strategies and adventures games are my favourites.

I didn’t read the whole thread but how about a gangster shooter (think Mafia), or other shooters that don’t include aliens or zombies, for a PC?
Anyone can recommend something? Doesn’t matter if it’s old

Check out BMW’s new concept car, that claims to get 62 mph…

I’m debating between Batman and Halo: ODST which comes out Tuesday…I know you hate FPS and other than Halo I’d agree, I just can’t get into the Call of Duty thing or any other FPS. The next big games I’m waiting on are Mass Effect 2, and Final Fantasy XIII.

Anyone here have an ipod touch? Do you train with it? I’m debating right now between the 8G ipod touch and the ipod nano. The touch just seems cooler but for training it seems a bit big? I do a mix of PL, OLY, running and other conditioning stuff. Also I’m a big concerned that it seems to be more fragile than the nano since it’s entire face is the touch material.

I’d suggest something as light and small as possible - something like an iPod shuffle instead. Maybe that’s just me, but I’d break anything too fragile if a weight rolls on me leg, etc. and anything larger gets in the way.

I just plug my phone into the PA at the gym and force everyone to listen to my stuff.

I have a an announcement that my fellow geeks here can appreciate…Gentlemen I am at Mecca(well 1 of 2 places that can be considered Mecca to us comic book fans). Let me elaborate, I work for a consultant agency in Manhattan that sends me on different long term assignments to the many different companies that are located in Manhattan. I received a call last week that I was to report to…wait for it…D.C. FUCKING COMICS!! Yes home of BATMAN, SUPERMAN (he told me to tell you he still loves you Wolbarret), GREEN LANTERN ETC.

Now of course i was psyched and eager to check it out, I just didn’t understand how great this was actually going to be. Not only the do the floors have themes, Gotham City (Life size Batman statue greets you in the lobby), Daily Planet (life size Superman) etc., there are toys, replicas, scale statues and comic books EVERYWHERE!! I am finding it hard to concentrate right now there are with no exaggeration about 50 toys and mini statues at my desk as we speak. The absolute best part is I have access to years & YEARS of comics, with permission I can take them home and keep as my own…

Fellow geeks Life is good.

I’m not a fan of physical comic books myself, but this still makes me envious. Very cool!

That is awesome!
