As a massive fan of MGS it pains me to say I am not excited in anyway for 5 after seeing the gameplay.

I’m not entirely sure where the whole open world idea came in for a Metal Gear game, but I feel like I need to trust Kojima on this one. I’ve had some reservations with David Hayter being gone and the Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain split, but the Solid series has been of such a high calibre for so long that I have to expect Kojima will pull something heavy out of the woodwork for this one, especially with how little is actually known of the full-blown Phantom Pain campaign relative to all the Ground Zeroes footage that’s surfacing. It doesn’t seem like there’s been too much variety in all with these compound assault missions, but with all the resources that Kojima has behind him and the feedback he’s taken over the years, I think we’re in line for something remarkable even if the approach at times seems a little unorthodox.

Maybe it’s just an unwavering faith I have for the series that’s holding me back from seeing tears in the canvas, but I can’t imagine Kojima would let us down with this one, I feel like there has to be something special here that we can’t quite piece together just yet.

gojira trailer 1000% better looking than the Broderick thing from '98

Looks like it could be a blast.

I may get flamed for this but I don’t understand the appeal with the MGS games. They get amazing reviews and I tried playing the last one for ps3 but I thought it was terrible.

I am enjoying my ps4 right now but I’m really looking forward to that game the order as well as infamous second son, The witcher 3, and definately the division… I have some waiting to do

I fear for the future of gaming on Youtube.

I cannot wait for the witcher 3. I never played the first one but my friend got me hooked on the second.

I didn’t play the first 2, but I saw the trailer for the 3rd and it looks insane

Well, Fall Out 4 has been all but confirmed…

FUCK YA BRO!

Most people outside the computer gaming world have never even heard of it. It will be interesting to see it on the PS4 and Xbox but I will be getting it for my Sager.

I played 2 on 360. Wasn’t my cup of tea, but it looked good.

I did not even know they put it out on the 360.

Like Diablo, I feel like it is a game made for the computer but is trying to expand into a new market of gamers. I also feel like they are doing this to compete with games like Fall Out and The Elder Scrolls.

Besides FIFA, personally, I’d prefer playing a game on a computer compared to a console.

Ya I could see that. I thought Diablo “felt” good on PS3, but the Witcher 2 just didn’t. The mechanics felt weird and I just never got a feel for the game play. I only played for about 6-8 hours though.

That’s funny, I hate playing on a computer. I use to play Unreal 2,000 & Red Faction on PC. I hate mouse and keyboard. Thank God for controllers…

I can see how The Witcher controls could be clumsy on the 360.

There is an engine you can install that allows you to play computer games with a console controller. Played Bioshock Infinite on my laptop with my PS3 controller…Simply life changing. The best of both worlds if you ask me.

last ten minutes of Arrow I was on my feet, a fully realized Salde Wilson aka Deathstroke, Barry Allan becoming the Flash, Brother Blood, Solomon Grundy, and Roy juiced on super soldier blood. can’t wait for the mid season break to end

That’s pretty sweet. I think the PS4 controller will work on PC, but I’m not sure.
