Just found out you have to pay monthly to play elder scrolls online for ps4. My hopes and dreams are crushed… Especially after watching this trailer

The Elder Scrolls Online - The Siege Cinematic Trailer (PEGI) - YouTube
Holy fucking shit that was fucking awesome.
Looks good would love to see some actual game play footage.

Plus if those the way of WOW I would be pissed.

I hope by summer or August my life will slow down again to pick up gaming.

It has been 6 months and I am getting the itch to KILL something.

I will end up getting a PS4 at some point in the months to come.

How did it look on PC?

Looked pretty good. I mean the scale of the game is obviously going to reduce the graphics. However, it still looked pretty great, especially considering none of it was final quality. I hear ya on waiting for life to slow down though. I’ve had quite a bit of free time recently but that is bound to change

IMO they’ll drop the monthly fee down after a few months. I can kinda justify paying the monthly fee because I’ll only be playing this and Titanfall for a long time.

I hope they drop it down. I’m a poor college student so I certainly cannot justify paying monthly for a game… although I wish I could. Titanfall and this sounds like an amazing combination. Should last you quite some time

Can’t do it. Not with The Division and Destiny coming out this year.

Plus Fall Out 4 has to be around the corner. I’m thinking 2015.

Also it’s hard enough for me to justify paying $15 a month for gamefly.

Elder Scrolls Online looks boring as fuck lol.

Nothing beats some unrepresentative CGI trailers to get people hyped about low level grinding for hours upon hours to level characters.

Then again, I never did understand the appeal of MMOs.

I donno man, for some reason wandering around Tamriel for hours sounds hella fun to me.

Fall Out’s another example. I’ve probably spent weeks just wondering aimlessly through New Vegas and Washington D.C. and I loved every minute of it.

I don’t like MMO’s but I have loved every elder scrolls game. Seems more to me like elder scrolls with MMO qualities than an MMO with elder scrolls qualities.

@USMC- damn you for bringing up the division. I had purposefully forgotten about that so it didn’t feel like such a long wait. I haven’t personally heard anything about fallout 4 but I’m sure it will be amazing.

Ha! Ya ,at least The Division is still slated for this year. Rumor was it was being pushed, but that has since been squashed.

No word on Fall Out 4 yet, but it’s been a couple of years now so it should be announced soon.

Lol Rattlehead

If this story is true it’s pretty comical

Although I think i’m the only wiener here that collect actions figures, I gotta say the Star Wars 6 Inch line is just kicking ass right now.

Skip to 21 mins in to see a comparison between an in game deadric invasion compared to the hype machine schlock trailers lol.

That actually looks pretty sick!

Soooooooooooo.

I’m getting a new console in May upon graduation! However, I went with the dark horse that is the Nintendo Wii U.

I will eventually get the PS4 but right now I want to play the nintendo exclusives and can’t wait to get my Mario Kart bundle.
