Gay Rage

Our genes determine or influence basically everything about us. Even nurture is inextricably linked with nature: the stimuli aren’t written in our DNA, but our reactions to them often are.

To think that something as visceral and elemental as whom one wants to have sex with could be entirely divorced of genetic or epigenetic influence is ridiculous. I learned to like classic rock and football. I have to have sex with women. If I–me, exactly as I am–had been born in India, I’d probably have learned to like cricket and Ravi Shankar. But you could put me in India, or China, or on Mars, and I’d still have to have sex with women.

I know, in other words, that there is no amount of “learning” that could erase the sexual desire that I feel when I simply walk past an attractive female. I have always thought that if anybody honestly thinks otherwise, perhaps he is a little further over on the 'ole Kinsey scale than he realizes (or admits). I still think that’s often the case, but there are also some people who simply don’t think about it, don’t even consider it, because it’s easier for them that way.

H, all I am saying is in this day in time, any scientific proof that will back up my side will be brushed under the rug and be claimed as Homophobic. Being Gay has changed from being a Moral issue to a Civil Rights issue. This started in the 1970s.

Here is a Pastor in Houston that gave a great sermon on Homosexuality. It is very good, and not judgmental at all. He just lays out what God says, and also what Science says about Homosexuality. He had an Uncle who he loved growing up that was Gay and died of AIDS. He brings it up in the sermon.
The issue has evolved over time it used to be classified as a mental illness. That was not why I quoted your first post or your second one. You keep making statements that you can’t back up. If someone wants to be morally opposed to homosexuality that is fine, but I’m calling someone out if they walk around spouting stuff that is demonstrably untrue or unprovable. And you have made two such statements in here.
Watch the video. That is my scientific back ground. He does not even talk about God till 35 minutes into the sermon. He quotes study after study from around the world. Statistic after statistic.
I cannot watch the video right now, but I will watch it tonight when I get home or tomorrow. I’m guessing that it’s filled with anecdotal data or ridiculously small sample sizes, but I will give it a listen.

I’ve already proved you wrong on one part though with a link and with the obvious observation that sexual abuse and homosexuality is of course not causal. This is demonstrably true. You may think you can “prevent” gay in your kids by doing something, but how many bible worshiping conservative type parents have had gay children? The answer is a lot. In fact it’s one reason why so many right leaning people have shifted viewpoints on it. They have had a kid or loved one who ended up being homosexual. FWIW I was never “against” your post because I don’t mind someone being morally opposed to homosexuality. I just believe you’ve made statements that have no or limited backing.
I will agree with you. My statements are based on what my understanding of the subject matter is and what I have heard. I have never done an extensive study on this subject. It is just that an opinion.

The Overfiend always has to take it a step too far and always has to make it racial. Kegel exercises and Gunther. It all makes sense you weirdo.

I’m in love

Born an X-man and proud of it.
By all psychological testing I and my kind account for 1.5% of the worlds total population.
Yet you fear me because of that which you do not know…
your ignorance will be your undoing…
Unique and Deadly to those who do not know…

Same could be said of heteros too though. So your population is out of touch or ignorant of 98.5% of the worlds population.

The question is can you reproduce?

Does anyone actually fear homosexuals? Or is that just something people say to feel better?

I mean, how could anyone fear that another is attracted to the same sex? Makes zero sense.

Is that like the made up “war on women” bullshit?

Yeah, well, a clinical phobia is an irrational terror of something, so “homophobia” does seem like somewhat of an overstatement, however homophobic people do seem to feel threatened by the very existence of homosexuality in society, as if the quality of their own lives and marriages is somehow degraded by other people choosing romantic and sexual partners from among members of their own gender. Whether their fears are justified is another matter. I can’t think of a case where a marriage failed because the people next door happened to be gay…unless the husband was sneaking over to have a tryst with one of the guys or something.

One or both partners can submit sperm for IVF, and contract with a surrogate mother to bear a child.

In the case of a lesbian couple, one or both partners can become pregnant via IVF and bear the children themselves.

As I’ve hinted before, eventually the technology will become available to take haploid gametes from each partner and combine them to form a zygote from the genetic information of two male or two female partners. So the short answer to your question is “yes”.
