If being gay is prefering a certain form over another, (it can’t be personality, because I know many ladies more masculine than men), then it is a matter of personal preference.

So, children are weak minded…we know that. If we as a society truly do not belive that being gay is right…and you know that we really don’t…no matter what anyone here says, they do not want to have a son that grows up to be a fag…period, so no matter what you all say at parties, the truth is still the truth and you all lie through your teeth to be PC. Isn’t PC just like what happened in Germany? Everyone knew what was right, but were afraid to speak up for being thought a traitor, somehow insensitive to the prevelant views of the state, somehow not educated…? That is PC…we know the truth, but we cannot speak it.
So since children are weak, and our western culture truly feels that being gay is immoral, which it still does, and we know that the weak are motivated by society, then allowing gay to be considered normal on the surface is hurting the weak and easily influenced.
Have a kid grow up with Charles Manson, or in a family of the Mafia, then killing is justified quite easily…it is definitely more likely…so is accepting gayness as normal really not hurting anyone(the kids)?
I have yet to meet someone who can explain why this line of thinking is unsound…please do, as i have two gay sisters and a gay cousin, and would love to be able to justify their lifestyle to the rest of my family.

Gay marriage is inevitable. It will win in one state; the couples will travel to another state and be denied some benefit of marriage; the Supreme Court will hear it; marriage will qualify as a right instead of a privelege because the government cannot bestow the word “marriage” with on some individuals and not others.
Unless there is an amendment, gay marriage is going to eventually be the law of the land, and I don’t think it sets a good precedent to be RESTRICTIVE in the Constitution with on questions of rights.
So let gays get married and divorced just like heterosexual couples, and leave it to the churches and mosques and synagogues, etc. to define what marriage is under heaven and sanctify what relationships they decide to.
Surely, an individual’s faith supersedes what the government has to say about romantic relationships. Right now, your faith probably has an opinion about about a 24-hour marriage in Las Vegas. Do you want to make those illegal? So let civil marriages abound between people (not animals, dumbass) and be secure with what your God (or lack thereof) says on the matter. The belief that marriage is between a man and a woman will still endure.
Right now we’re fighting Islamofascists for the cause of a system of government that keeps religion pretty much out of civil affairs without oppressing the practice of individual faiths in the public sphere. I don’t know how we can rightly defend our greatest values abroad while constitutionally denying gays marriage.
So I’m not saying you have to like it, but I am saying it will happen; and Charlie Daniels is just going to have to sigh at part of “the American way.”
