That is the only thing that Ike could bother me about.
AND, we’re good. IT’s home, but monday night. so the 35 mile hour winds and 4 inches of rain will be gone.

Yes - in God’s Stadium
I doubt it. They are about 300 miles from the coast. All they will get is a bunch of rain. I guess there could be a problem with lightning if the rain is accompanied with thunder storms.

This guy is not affected by oil prices at all. He just paid $4.20 to fill up his car. That’s about 18 cents a gallon, but he lives in Venezuela…

I always thought it was Texans overestimating how important they are.

No way RJ would let that happen! (Sorry man, I couldn’t resist)

She’s not going to get good gas mileage in anything she drives.
Last I checked, around me the prices were between $4.00 and 4.25, but it’s been that way for a while.
Only $3.42 where I’m at.

Facts:
Conclusion: Women can’t drive, in some countries that is.
Fellow Canadians check out the site by MP Dan McTeague who every day accurately predicts gas price increases and decreases:
http://www.mcteague.ca/WebPages/gas_price_today.htm
Ex: He predicted a 12.9 cent overnight price hike on Thursday, September 11 at 5:45 pm. Price rose 12.6 cents on Friday morning. So drive slower, walk more and time your gas purchases with Dan’s help.

WTF!!!You guys have got to be taking the piss, we pay around £1.12p here in the uk and that is for a litre. 4.55 litres to the gallon. £5.10 a gallon or there abouts. I buy most of my books from the states as it is cheaper to get them sent to te UK than buy them here.
Enjoy your prices while you have them Bastards!
cheers Spud

You need to refigure your conversion. A gallon is 3.78 liters.
Dang, my 383 is going in the camaro this month. Sounds like ill just have to run all my erands on one day and avoid driving however possible. Tough, but thats a sacrafice you may have to make to drive a cool car. Well see if its worth it.
I think we should pump our own oil ASAP and start drilling on our homeland. Once we stop buying the expensive imported oil, they will shit a brick and lower the prices where they should be, supply and demand. Then we can stop using our own oil again for a while.

Google Says “1 Imperial gallon = 4.54609188 litres”.
I take it there is another type of gallon?
Edit:
Yup, UK and US have different gallons.
In the UK 8 pints makes a gallon or did until we went to litres. UK, USA two countries seperated by a common language and a gallon as it seems. Our petrol price is so high because our goverment hit us hard with taxes, it’s a green thing, which is bollocks of course. ![]()

You know what? The price Oil has dropped down to 100 a a barrel, but the price of gas hasn’t changed at all. I know this storm heading toward Texas is going to affect the price NOW, but the price of oil has been on a steady decline for a little over a month now.
I am sure that there are other factors involved, but the thing is that when oil was headed UP, gas prices headed UP almost in synch. Now that oil is heading DOWN, gas is still where it is.
Just wondering.

I’m putting around in a civic for now myself so I feel your pain.

Word. I think it’s so stupid. WTF has a hurricane got to do with the price of fuel? A butterfly could fart in the Pacific Ocean and they could still find some way to justify a price rise based on that!
25% of the US domestic production has been shut down in anticipation of Hurricane Ike.
For the idiots down under who haven’t a fucking clue about much of anything - most of the oil refineries in the US are located right where Ike is headed. They have called for a mandatory evacuation of the area.
So if there is no one there to make the gasoline, and there are still 300 million people using gasoline - what do you think is going to happen to the price?
Seriously, dude - the head was intended to be used for more more than a hat rack.

true
it only went up like 4 cents in the U.S lolz
