Overall this was a pretty good week. As above I had some niggling discomfort and so took a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday off, but I’m confident next week will be better. My nutrition was pretty good on the whole, and my weight is down a bit, but I did have two big binges lol.

This was great - I managed all timed sets with the 40kg (88lb) kettlebell, which feels like a big landmark. It was extremely tough, I needed a full 10min rest between the swings and get-ups.
Brutal session - started with S&S, then one set of heavy TBDLs and finally 45 minutes of carnage at the hands of @ChongLordUno. Very happy with this one, hopefully it goes some way to offsetting the four doughnuts I had at work today.
This was a great week - much lower frequency than usual, but I made up for that with intensity. The highlight was managing all timed S&S sets with the 40kg kettlebell, and surviving the conditioning work yesterday.
@ChongLordUno - Honestly this is shaping up to be some of the worst DOMS I’ve ever had haha, death by a thousand goblet squats. Really enjoyed that class.

Poor showing on the bench press, but that’s to be expected. Otherwise a good session. I’ve been having a lot of headaches recently, I think due to posture and probably exacerbated by kettlebells.
This was a reasonable week. Only 3 kettlebell sessions but I got a run and a strength session in too. I’m pretty happy with how the trapbar deadlifts went but the bench press was disappointing - almost enough to make me want to start benching regularly again. My weight is creeping back up, I need to focus on that.
Very solid session today. Not to keep banging on about it but I really struggle to grip my 40kg kettlebell during the single handed swings - the handle is so thick and smooth. As a result of my low confidence in my grip the rest of the movement suffers, especially the power in my hips. I’m really looking forward to mastering it - that is a more important goal than progressing to the 48kg at the gym.
My grip felt a little better today, this was a good session. I have developed a niggling discomfort in my right elbow over several weeks, and it has been particularly bad over the past few days. The concentric-only floor press at the start of the Turkish get-up seems to really hammer it, so I’ve decided to skip get-ups for a few sessions.
Good session today. I last ran on the 18th but this was reasonably fast by my standards. I had some discomfort in my right knee, particularly around one the screws, but nothing outrageous. I only did sets of 5 on the swings, and instead kept my rest periods short.
I tried foam rolling my right arm yesterday, after reading @caesium32’s log, and my elbow definitely feels different today. I really hammered my tricep but struggled to find a good technique for my forearms. I think I’ll do some more foam rolling later today.
