Isn’t it funny that the FDA approves RU-486, a pill designed to kill a human life at conception, but bans ephedra which has killed about 10 people a year due to their own personal stupidity? Too bad RU-486 wasn’t around when some of these FDA guys mom’s got knocked up…
maybe we can just use that instead of an eca. that way we wont have to worry about getting ripped anymore.
I agree with you on the ephedra stuff, but since human life begins at birth and not conception I don’t really see the problem with the RU-486.

Well the company that makes RU486 pads the pockets of politicians and ephedra you can just buy over the counter. Like Steve says: It’s all about the benjamins. Think about this the next time you go into the voting booth.
Life begins at conception, not birth. Why is that so hard to understand? Just because the human is not fully developed doesn’t mean it is not a human being…how long will the silent holocaust go on?

There is no way you can compare a drug that is used for physical gains (ephedra) which essentially is speed, to a drug used in abortion. The problem isnt the drug its the fact that people didnt realise what they were taking to lose weight. I agree the whole abortion issue is not a pretty subject to start on… but i believe unless you’ve been in the situation, persay a 15 or 16 year old pregnant youth (not that i have) you cant make the call, it all comes down to ones right to control their life.

Twisted ? There are a lot of situations that I have not been in, but I still know right from wrong. My heart goes out to anyone in that situation or many others. That still does not change my opinion. Sometimes you have to accept responsibility for your actions and suffer the consequences, no matter how difficult that may be.
