Funny isn’t it. Scott Peterson gets charged with a double muder because he killed his unborn child, yet in the eyes of the law. Birth is the start of life according to the law. So you got to admit no matter what side of the issue your on, you have to aggree that the law is fucked up; it’s either one way or the other. Even if you agree with abortion, I think it’s pretty clear that RU-486 is far more detrimental and serious than ephedra. After all at one time it was Athsma medicine and it worked.

Hey, Twisted regardless of your opinion there is a right and wrong. Can I choose to kill someone? Yes, I can choose to kill someone, but then I would have to suffer the consequences of my actions. Would I choose that? No I wouldn?t. I am trying to choose my words carefully. Every human on earth has free will. I am a Christian so I believe that that is from God. You can disagree. Either way just because you can choose something does not mean that you should. Let me give you a little background on me. I have two children (neither was planned, I guess the pill doesn?t always work). I do volunteer work at a few Rape Crises Centers and Child Advocacy Centers in my area. I hear the horror stories and sometimes when I?m working I have to leave when they bring a case in. I maintain their computers and network. Rape does not change the fact that Abortion is wrong. My heart goes out to them and I would do anything in my power to help. We have forgotten that there are consequences for the decisions that we make. Science and Medicine have made it too easy. Abortion is not a cure. You may get rid of your ?problem?, but you will suffer the consequences for that, now or later. Later may be infertility or Uterine Cancer. It may just be wondering for the rest of your life about that child that was never born. The right thing is not always easy. Sometimes it gets hard like 3AM feedings or changing diapers. There are other options like adoption. As a side bar guys have it easy. For the most part we are not going to get raped, and we are not going to have a baby growing inside of us and have to deliver him/her. Before anyone says that I have not been in a tough situation where I had to make this kind of decision, well I have. My first born had a severe genetic disorder. When the second was on the way she had a better that 50% chance of having the same thing. We were told to think about abortion. It was never an option. I am sure that there are tougher situations than that. I hope that you will take this message in the way that it is intended. As a final thought? If a sperm and egg get together and they are left alone they will form all that is needed to begin life.

Merlin, Just so you know the picture is of a 21-week-old unborn baby named Samuel Alexander Armas, who is being operated on by a surgeon. The baby had been diagnosed with Spina Bifida and would not have survived if this operation did not take place. The operation took place while still in the mother?s body. The picture is of his hand reaching out and grabbing the surgeon?s finger. Samuel Alexander Armas was born healthy and the operation was a total success.
It seems kind of ironic that you seem to support choice, but are offended by the pic. This pic really has nothing to do with abortion. It simply shows a medical miracle taking place.
