Sitting in the atlanta airport with only my iPhone so dang, I can’t see the videos!

Very nice squatting in here! Hard work had paid off… in the form of swass! I am always sweaty. One of the nice things about the spandex shorts is that you can’t see it. Maybe TMI, but the worst is when I squat in compression tights in the winter. My ass does this suction thing with them and as I come out of the hole the tights ‘pop’ outta my ass. Weird.

Oh, and I love Boddingtons. Haven’t had it in forever. Maybe this weekend. Baseball and beer after a deloadish leg session. Hmmm.

Good luck getting to the PL gym tomorrow.

Long day again - currently downing a little coffee in the hopes of catching a second wind. Have negotiated with myself squats only tonight. I have to work tomorrow and my brain is rebelling. I’ll try to schedual something on sunday to compensate.

was told overall major improvement in my form, yeah me! (such a teacher’s pet)

points to work on
1- knee cave: high repetition, lower weight and spread that floor!
2- higher chest
3- more speed out of the hole
4- but wink - my cue for depth needs to be rethought. The knee cave worsens with the butt wink. I need to keep back tighter. Will try to vid with better form for reference next time.

Congrats on the improved squat form! Since you were very conscientious about your HW–I’m not surprised. Little things sometimes make the biggest difference.

Nadia - I’m hoping to beat all odds and become a powerlifting machine - long limbs be damned. LWI :slight_smile:

Maschy - Not sure if too low is the issue - more that I expect and round my lower back at a certain point to know I’ve hit depth. Next squat day I’ll try to vid the difference. Basically the back needs to keep tight through out, not relax in the hole… It’s hard to wrap my brain around verbally but basically hitting depth without the butt wink is the key…

Don’t work too hard today.

After work we grabbed some mexican food: nachos, salsa, gringa (marinated porc in soft shell with cheese), and chorizo tacos. delicious! we ate it in 20 minutes flat.

No reason you can’t be a powerlifting machine. Long arms are disadvantageous for bench but great for deadlifting.
