Oh right workouts…

was planning on hitting the gym last night but I’m traveling to Vancouver for business on thursday and there’s just a lot that needs to be done before I take that plane. MIL is still in the hospital and hubby is spending a lot of time there so I’m trying not to ask too much of him. Technically this should be a deload week but I’m feeling good and eating plenty so I was planning to skip it. However the only way to skip the deload was by hitting the gym early in the morning this week GAK!!! I hate early morning workouts - no strength, no oomph. no gas. I almost convinced myself to deload this morning when I woke up but I grabbed my proverbial balls, my runnig shoes, some PP mixed with a little pre-workout and left before I could convince myself not to.

I know from past times that mornings are not for PR’s but I was aiming to atleast get my prescribed reps for everything… got them.

showered and ready to hit my day. I really couldn’t do this on a regular basis.

Great work getting into the gym Frenchie! That’s half the battle. And 75 on the MPs are no joke. Good stuff!

I started implementing the frog stretches in my warm up btw. I’m not super tight in the groin, but I actually love them for my back!

Morning workouts take some getting used to. You got it done. I wouldn’t worry at all about how the weight felt. I like running first thing, but lifting weights feels like such a violent start to the day–too hard for me unless I spend more time than I have warming up.

Those pictures are amazing! I love the heels! Though if I was wearing those I’d shortly be in a wheelchair with a couple of mangled ankles. I’m not good at heels.

I walk by a corset shop every time I go to ART. I’m always intrigued, but it is always closed in the evenings. Sad. I should really go check it out during their regular hours.
