Actually, it’s no concern of mine whether someone runs his mouth. So long as the person is not a threat to me or a love one, the person can do and say what he wants.

Exactly. Shamrock takes pride in describing his fight style as a “Brawler/Heel hook” guy. Wow, his victories come by 2 of the ways to win a MMA fight. How does that define whether or not his style is technically sound?
Anyone who watches him can tell he hits hard and is physically strong, and that can get you pretty far in a sport whose talent pool was shallow. Technically precise is not something I would ever describe his style as.
Ken was a great fighter in 199x. Even if he was in his prime right now he would never be more than a mid-level gate keeper. The sport has evolved, Ken hasn’t.
