So I was listening to the radio on my drive in and heard them talking about this website called sparkpeople.com.
I don’t think they sell anything but they have alot of free services. The coolest one is a nutrition tracker.
Just create an account (absolutely free just like here) and you can put in how many meals you are eating and name them if you want. You just put in what food you are eating, how much and which meal to put it in and it keeps track of your caloric intake along with fat, carbs and protein.
It will break it down per meal and give you a total for the day. The coolest thing is they already have most foods/brands that you would find in the stores including fast foods.
Most protein shakes and supps aren’t in there but you can manually input and save them. Just get the nutritional info from the bottle and input it, then it will be saved so you can use it again. I had to do this for my weight gainer shake and a couple other supps that have calories in them that I want to keep track of.
I tried it today and put in everything I will be eating except dinner and I already have just over 4k calories. I have always wanted to log my food but never know what the numbers for most foods are. This is just a really easy way to make sure you’re getting enough food for your needs.
