The Democrats don’t even pretend to be for small government that much is true. The Republicans run under the guise of small government because it’s a winning stance to take more often than not. Reagan tripled the debt. If you want to argue he didn’t grow government to a huge extent go ahead. But start right there please. And I don’t want to hear ANY justification for it or it’s exactly like the left does with the debt RIGHT now. We NEED this stuff at THIS moment. We always have.

Right now the tea party is running loonies left and right. How many seats have been given to Democrats because the tea party picked the looniest person possible to run?

Let’s look at some other tea party people and see just how principled they are:

Why don’t you take a look at Michelle Bachmann, or Stephen Fincher some tea party favorites. Guess who’s profiting off farm subsidies big time? Oh sure these people love to stand up against big government, except for the parts they are profiting insanely from. You won’t hear these people mention cutting defense. You WILL hear them talk about big government in social issues all the time (see Rick Santorum).

They are the ultimate wolf in sheep’s clothing. I will get on board with the Tea Party when they drop the loonies which keeps getting bad Democrats re-elected when they shouldn’t, and when I’m convinced they are ACTUALLY serious about rooting out big government and not just big government they don’t like.

And where were these people with GWB? Why didn’t they stand up against Romney harder?
