First of all I didn’t say that in my post, did I? Secondly, most of the media is in fact liberal. FOX vs CBS, NBC, ABC, MSNBC, CNN the NY Times, Time and Newsweek Magazines and on and on and on. Did you happen to catch Wolf (I’m a lefty) Blitzer “mediate” the Christine O’Donnell debate? Ha ha, it was like he was working on her opponents campaign. I usually check a number of news sources, I like to see how the stories compare or which ones get left out depending who reports it.

Here is “My World”, Zeb.

For some time now, what I was seeing and living didn’t “match up” with this view of a Fire Breathing Liberal Media that was turning all our children gay; forcing us to all buy Oprah’s “Book-of-the-Month”; sending us all subliminal messages through back-wards playing Metal; and now, being the “force” behind electing a Kenyan Marxist as President.

Instead, I can’t go to a break room, a nurses station or even an airport without there being a conservative “talking head” on the TV; conservative books in waiting rooms or in the possession of staff and employees; or someone wanting my opinion on something Beck, or Limbaugh said…or some new “Revelation” they read about the President.

And just about the “strongest” argument anyone had in all of 2010 of this overiding "Liberal Media "was “Avatar”???

But I never had any facts.

Then on this VERY FORUM, DB presented pages upon pages of undisputed facts, that you and others blew-off as dribble because it didn’t fit “the Myth”. Facts that showed both in viewership and overall influence, we are IN FACT a nation inundated with; and our opinions are being meticulously shaped by, CONSERVATIVE media.

It only makes sense that big media corporations, that happen to make money by selling their audiences to other big corporations, would create a “liberal” product that works against their own interests. What else would you expect?

On to the topic.

As I’ve charged before on this forum, you have a liberal view point on many issues. That you cannot see the obvious is no ones fault but your own as you see what you want to see and you obviously want to see more liberal media. But in reality (something that has escaped you) the mainstream media is in fact liberal.

Here is one study done out of that bastion of conservatism, UCLA (there are others):

Slash Social Security and Medicare; end the foreclosure and housing crisis; reign in the unsustainable spiraling cost of health care and the ever-growing ranks of the uninsured; end terrorism and the human and financial cost of not only Afghanistan; but of being the “World’s Police”; end illegal immigration; cut taxes; and OF COURSE create 20 million jobs (ala Reagan).

Fox News is great Edutainment, and a great buisness model for future edutainment networks to follow.

It’s a pretty poor news organization, with surveys over and over again showing people who get most of their News from Fox consistently behind the curve in their knowledge of facts.

What I notice most about the talking heads at MSNBC is that their entire shows are nothing but being as invective, nasty, mean, and insulting as they can to “the other side”. Yes I agree. Olbermann and Maddow have absolutely no substance or valid viewpoints in their show, and it is a sad state of affairs that people like this can have a fucking TV show on national television.

We need more shows like Fareed Zakaria’s GPS, and Meet the Press.
