People are throwing this “Constitution” word around… Is that valid here?[/quote]
No, that is NOT valid here, and I don’t think that anyone is claiming that we have a first amendment right to say whatever we want here.
However, I would suggest that the same theoretical principles that informed our Founders in the crafting of our Bill of Rights are also applicable to our humble corner of the net.
MODS:
Aren’t you guys in ENOUGH trouble with “PETA” already???
LOL!

What about the dogs? ![]()
I look at this a policy of a private enterprize. For example-Some bars will kick you out for swearing, others have girls dancing topless on the tables. So there is a wide latitude that is left to the business owner as to how he would like to run his establishment. The funny thing you don’t see here though is that if someone gets snappy with the owner or the guests, they don’t get kicked to the curb and the crap beaten out of them. That would be kinda funny though.
I get the impression sometimes that people are looking for Moderation to be some “Science” with a clear set of formulae, algorithms and set protocol…
I get the impression that its much more “fluid” and inexact… leading to the confusion that some profess (I think that 99% of the time people know damn well why their post was deleted or denied…)
Ultimately the Mods must do what they feel is best for the Company and our small community as a whole…
That can be a tough order, for sure…

I wish the Mods would be a little more aggresive in the use of delete key in the supplement posts.
I mean how many freakin posts are there in - say - the HOT-ROX product thread that are just flat out stupid as hell?
Chad, Cy, and the rest of the guys must have the patience of Job to answer questions that should never even make it to cyber-space.
“Can I take cialis and Spike? BTW I’m 18.”
“How many HOT-ROX should I take if I live in equatorial New Guinea?”
“I usually piss holding my pecker with my left hand. If I take MAG-10, should I alternate hands, or will it be okay to continue holding my pecker with my left hand?”
It’s gotten to the point that I won’t even read the product threads anymore.
If I’m taking HOT-ROX and Methoxy-7, which thread should I read to maximize my T3 production?
Wow…
I was reading through this thread and realized how much I had posted in it!
But this is a subject that I’ve become very passionate about lately both from a professional and personal standpoint…
Anyway…guess what?
I had a post to not go through the other day (it was on the “CODEX” thread in the “Political” section)…
It was sort of a head-scratcher…but it didn’t bother me for one reason and one reason only…the Mods know the COMPLETE context that a reply is posted within… whereas I only know a fraction of the total picture…
As has been stated, I could have asked why, and would have gotten a response…but in the end, I was VERY cool with it…
And the World (and the Nation!) moves on!

once more in english please.
Yeah, the mods know the context, so do you if you’ve been reading the thread, so I don’t get what you’re saying.
What I don’t like is when they cherry pick words out of your posts.
That bugs me.
Joe:
I can’t speak on the “cherry picking” of words, because I’ve never had it done before.
The “context” that I’m speaking of is MUCH broader than the thread itself… it may touch on sensitive areas that the company may be dealing with…or my reply may be one that is going into an area that the Website is trying to keep under control.
Examples?
a) The “CODEX” thread was touching on sensitive areas of the Supplement industry as a whole.
b)I had a pic disallowed once that had too much frontal nudity. (This is an area that this site is trying to keep in check…even though they have allowed a LOT of leeway when it comes to “Da’ Booty!!!”
LOL!
And guess what, Joe?
The Mods are human…maybe they just think that you’re a s**t, and didn’t like the way you said something!!!
Mufasa
Okay, Mafusa, I hadn’t thought about it in terms of stuff related to the overall site, I was stuck at the thread level. I gotcha now, thanks.
No, just words that you might sometimes add to let someone know they’ve pushed too far or one over a line. When they’re pulled out it waters down the whole thing.
And yeah, they’re human, and they do a great job, and they’re helpful and polite and I’ve found always willing to work with me to resolve an issue if there is one.
And besides–it’s their playground, not ours!
And as to the frontal nudity–I’ve noticed it does depend on the mod on duty.
Some let a lot more go then others.
