HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Normally, I’d reply to a thread as such in disgust, but this comment was way too funny.
I can’t claim credit. I stole it from a Dave Chapelle bit. [/quote]
Yea when I first read it, it sounded different from when Dave Chapelle said it.
Elbow Strike, what if these really intelligent people you’re taking about were “suppossedly” MORE intelligent if their parents didnt do weed? Im not saying weed makes u stupid, its just something you wonder about.

Couldn’t this cause brain damage to a child so young and still developing?
What about ADD and ADHD drugs like Ritalin that doctors like to shove down kids throats. Parents who give their kids any drug should do time!
are you being facetious?
You mean controversial drugs like Ritalin right?
I was joking about the jail time, but it is sad that our kids are poisoned by substances made by big pharma companies, most of them not even studied for long term side effects. Where is the outrage over this?
Have you missed all the marches in protest? All the (usually mothers) protesting and speaking to the Senate?
There is outrage and lobbying going on
sorry, off topic
Good.
I haven’t heard much about it, but my question would be why it took so long. Every overactive kid does not need medication for it. Maybe they just need some actual discipline and to be told “Hell NO!!” once in a while. I treat a lot of kids in what I do and it is sometimes irritating what some parents let their kids get away with.

The hyper kids I know are just like their parents, I think they should medicate the parents and the kids would probably fallow suit.
The product was called “gripe juice” or something like that. Very sweet grape flavored over the counter baby product that was extremely high in alcohol. My parents used it on all us kids. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!

Anyone else here worked with kids and noticed that the children of smokers are generally more hyperactive, unfocused, and out-of-control than the children of non-smokers?

If someone quit smoking months before they became pregnant, do you think there would still be an effect like this?
I can think of two brothers who are the offspring of some hippie parents. While the parent’s are super-ethical, these guys have absolutely no genuine emotions and are only concerned with entertainment. They both got pretty high SAT scores and do pretty well in school with no effort. One of them is a heavy cocaine user.
Grape drink?

Yeah, not to hijack this thread, but I agree completely. People are too quick to pin every little thing on a “disorder” and “overcome” them with medications. Parents need to learn to control their children, and if kids want to get out and play because they’re pent up inside all day, that’s not their fault.
On topic: that’s messed up what happened with the baby.

Yeah, I know. Thats what I was laughing at.
“Awww baby snuck into the club!”
“Hey baby go home! You got your whole life ahead of you!”
“Fuck you, I got kids to feed!”
Good times.

Haha, yes, great quote. Anyway, having smoked a few in my day, I have to say that it’s obviously far less bad than perscriptions, (generally,) but I still think it ought to be the responsibility of regular cannabis users to know when to introduce someone to pot, and when not to.
This is one of the inopportune times in the kid’s life, I’d say.

No Gripe juice which was grape flavored. Basically used to calm or knock kids out, depending on amount used. Not sold any more.

What the fuck is juice???
Regarding the article, this happens all the time. The kid will be okay. It’s just stupid and wasteful.
