How long have you been on a low carb diet?

Is it true that you cant develop a lean muscular body while on a Low-Carb diet?
I’ve heard that a Low-Carb diet stops ypu from gaining muscle mass, and i was wondering if this is true?
Define low carb.
And 2)… I really hope everyone on this site trains in some capacity.
by Low-Carb, i mean:
No bread, pasta, potato, rice, flour, oats, basically anything starchy.
I dont mean fruits and vegetables
What’s up with this concept of “Fruit is okay on low carb, just no starches”? There are carbs in fruit home boy. Just saying…
Well, to make this thread a little bit useful.
I’m on a low carb diet (RFL) about 30 to 60g/day depending.
Been doing it for a monthish.
Doesn’t really affect my training, still hitting PRs from session to session.
this guy has started some of the most ridiculous threads… asking for tabata style ab workouts and another one to ask if he could do a routine that was 4 days a week of tabata with 4 ab days and with one full body day. There is no way this guy is for real… 6’ 147 and wanting to lose weight?

Oh… whoops.
Long live Europeans
Some days i have over 300 g of carbs and am still leaning out in the process. I’ve lost fat with low carb diets in the past, but the entire time, felt lethargic, flat and believe I lost more muscle than neccessary. After switching to a higher carb, lower fat diet, now I wonder if Im actually one of the few very carb tolerant, fat intolerant people on the forum.

1)4 months on a zero carb diet waybackwhen, 4 months on anabolic diet jan-may, and back on it now (last month).
2)Yes, liftin’ of the weights, bit PL, bit BB bit SM
3)Cardio = slower, weights not affected, new PRs regularly, fast recovery; heavier lifts are done ASAP after the “carb up” day on saturdays. I.e dead/squats and heavy shit on sun/mon/tu, lighter shit later in wk.
4)No, from many many different sources. If your avg BBer eats carbs n protein as his bulk diet, what do you think he “cuts” when he’s cutting?! protein? he cuts carbs, he gets sharper…
Hope this helps.

Haha. Fucking brilliant! I’m looking for a personal trainer so maybe I’ll give him a shout!!
I’ve been doing the same low carb diet as well and have found that with proper nutrient intake and timing energy levels during training don’t suffer. BCAAs have worked very well for me. I load with five grams before, during, and after.
OP’s borderline brilliant. Who else could garner so much hate in only 8 posts?
