For Those Born in the 60's

You guys aren’t dead yet? Seriously?

You should be dancing…

But you may be too old for it.

AWWW yes, this would be me. When the toughest decision was ass, grass, or cash when hitchhiking.

Well to be honest if you are born in a decade then its the next decade you remember fondly. People born around 80-85 will still be to young to really have good memories other than kid toys of that decade.

So Chips is correct since its a 70’show

Oh and my theme music of course.

Let’s not make the same mistake as with the 80’s post. Remember people, if your born in the 60’s it’s the 70’s that made up the bulk of your cool childhood memories. Post 70’s, don’t post cool things about the 60’s that decade is for the people born in the 50’s or eariler. Very cool vids by the way.

If you were born in the 60’s, you might have spent a lot of time remembering the 50’s by watching Happy Days. People ask me why I don’t seem to have much of a southern accent, and I tell them I grew up hanging out with Vinnie Barborino and Author Fonzirelli.

Kids today have no idea the hazards we went through. If you didn’t get all the seeds out of your grass you risked having one pop when you took a hit…you could lose an eye ya know lol.

edit/I had a huge crush on Thelma from good times. This white boy from Canader had trouble geting to sleep some nights, what a body…DYNOMITE!!!

I remember nic & Dime bags. I remember Thelma and her dance routines.
But what I really remember is my Mother letting me out the house on Saturdays and letting me ride and play with my friends on other blocks without worry.

Kids can’t even ride there Bikes today unless it’s in front of the House.

“Strong” old man voice good sir.

I remember no air conditioning and the only relief was pulling up the basement carpet and lying down on the cool cool cement…our family dog taught me this trick lol.

I remember just after my Dad left we were so poor that they cut our electricity for not paying the bill during the holidays (back when they cut you bill in the winter for not paying). We turned the oven on and had Christmas in the kitchen - beans instead of turkey, YUM.

I’ve never had air conditioning.

Lost in Space (btw, best motion picture not to get a sequel)

Jack Lord was offered the role of Captain Kirk… and turned it down. As did 3 others before Shatner.

Starsky & Hutch and Charlie’s Angels

Mutual of Omahas Wild Kingdom.

Stealing Playboys and Penthouse from the back of the barber shop. And every once in a blue moon scoring a Hustler.

Tufskins

Yardduties

Kiss

Fly robin Fly

and don’t forget Deep Throat

You old people are terrible at posting.

I was born in the 60’s but it’s the 80’s I remember and like best. Whatever decade you went to H.S. is what you favor most ie. Music
