For Sale: Nike Romaleos, Size 12

AS the title says, size 12 Nike Romaleos for sale. Olympic White. I have had these for maybe a month and a half, worn them 4 times. I purchased them brand new. Unfortunately, I threw out the box etc., but the shoes are in great shape, come with both training and competition insoles. I just don’t like the way they fit my feet. They are super solid, no movement whatsoever. $150.

What is it that you don’t like about the shoe? Do you own other lifting shoes?

How do the nikes fit? Are you a 12 in a regular shoe?

They are too tight towards the end of my foot, at the second strap especially, in typically Nike fashion. I also have a pair of size 12 Adistar Weightlifting that fit wonderfully. It is just the width of these which is not sufficient.

That is some good info right there. I have some huge toes that probably wouldn’t fit well in these. When I get a pair I think I will go with the Adidas. Thanks!

Interesting, I own both also and my experience is the opposite; the Adidas tend to run more narrow (similar to their running shoes) while the Nike’s are more wide. I wear a smaller size though (US 9.5) so that could be the differing factor there. Which insoles were you using for the Romaleos?

I tried both the training and competition insoles. I didn’t really notice much of a difference. These shoes are very narrow, during the last workout that I wore then, my toes actually fell asleep. I’ve always found Nikes to run narrow, but these shoes take that to a new extreme. I’m surprised that you’ve had the opposite experience.

I found that my Nike Raomaleos are wider then my Addistars. Both UK size 9. Nikes for me have always been wider then Adidas foot wear.

As far as my experience with shoes etc… it totally differs based on shoe size… a size 8 might be wide but the same shoes when it gets up to 12-13 they’re more narrow etc… or vice versa depending on the company.
