How much money do you spend on food(anything with calories counts) a day on average?
I am curious to hear what other people spend.
Plus I need some money saving tips on my shoe-string budget.

$40.00 a day? What the Hell are you eating? I spend about that much a week.
Here’s an article I put together a few years back on this very topic for JB.

about $75-85 a week, for my wife and I
My rough calculations come up to around $16 dollars/day. My only calorie containing supps are Surge and Low Carb Grow!. Food is the one expense I don’t compromise on, but I shop at Super Walmart, buy store brand whenever I can, eat tuna instead of chicken, and find other ways to save money.
40-60 a week if I cook my own food. Lots of veggies, oats, steak, eggs, chickens, olive oil, and some fruits. I don’t go with dairy products. Overrated.
~$75 a week.
I buy natural beef and buffalo though, so that adds up.
Well, Unfortunately I cant cook anything other than eggs. I can get organic double ostrich burger on a spinach salad for about 11 bucks. If I get a regular salad with double chicken near my work it comes out to around 8 bucks. New York City is expensive, especially for a growing teen who has no cooking experience. I look forward to going to college next year though where I can PILE ON the protein and all the goodies for the same amount of money as some aerobics jerk-off ends up paying on the same meal plan for soy dogs and rice.

I typically spend about 50-60 dollars a week on my food. My grocery bill is always higher, but that is including misc items and all the processed, packaged, junk food and fake healthy food that my wife and son eat. If it were just me that shit would not exist in my house, but what can a man do. I am just glad I can always resist, in fact rarely do I even get the urges to eat any of that stuff.
Damn Low carb wiener heads have messed up the prices for us people that have been eating that way already. Meat is so high priced!
