That looks incredible. Nice work.
I was out to dinner at an upscale grill-type place last night and very tempted to get a BLT, and I’ve just realized it’s this thread and @Brant_Drake’s fault.
I have yet to make the cheesecake brownies, but I did make a variety of cheesecakes with the family the other day:
Bananofi
Easter egg cheesecakes (two types: salted caramel and chocolate orange):
Honestly the idea of Easter egg cheesecakes is better than the reality (chocolate is too hard a texture from the fridge and contrasts with cheesecake with disappears before the chocolate melts in your mouth). Not bad but I’d rather eat the chocolate and cheesecake separately. They look cool though.
Those look amazing!
My all time favorite.
So that’s a radish lol. I hate them tbh. I love braised beef or venison with ginger and spring onions.
I forgot to post this, but

18 oz cowboy ribeye at the best steakhouse in Richmond, creamy horseradish sauce on the side and red skinned mashed potatoes with garlic and butter. Ate it all and gnawed the bone.
Tonight:
Panko crusted wild caught cod fillets with Parmesan, lemon zest, parsley and garlic.
Sunday evening meal prep for breakfasts:
-Vego/egg slice (eggplant, zuchinni, carrot, capsicum, asparagus, brocolli, cauliflower, leek, various spices, salt, pepper, 12x eggs, olive oil)
-Beef meatballs (plus spices, chick peas, onion, egg, olive oil)
All oven cooked, Slice: 40min at 220degC in our crappy oven, Meatballs 30min - turn them over half way thru.
Slice makes 6x serves, meatballs makes 25ish…
Threw some different veg into the slice this week, tastes the goods. Thermomix great for dicing it all up in batches.
I think my girlfriend is trying to keep me fat.
This is from a dinner date that she requested “something new”! Place was awesome. Everything cooked in an open flame oven thingy. Very bougee
The highlight for me was the beef fat candle soup with fresh bread to dip and the fresh shrimp avacado toast. My least favorite thing was the snapper throat.
You know it’s fancy when they’re serving you in all-clad dishes. Bought a big pan of theirs for my gf, didn’t have any money to cook anything for a week.
Yea it was pretty fancy lol super unique though! I had to make reservations and we chose outdoor dining, it was awesome.
Whoooo boy that soup and bread look amazing.
Dude. You have no idea ![]()
Ovenbird?
Yes! You from around here?
No, in Illinois - but I’m a chef, so bougie restaurants and fancy food are up my alley.
