Beef liver, two dollops of mustard and greens (mustard is such a good addition to this)
Bacon & eggs (with kimchi and riced broccoli)
We must be connected somehow
I was LITERALLY just thinking about liver, brussel sprouts and kimchi!!! Had 12 eggs yesterday
100%- I probably deserve a Heinz sponsorship based on how much mustard I eat ![]()
Anna, all due respect, but that seriously looks more like horror than porn. You’re a pretty weird kid! (I’m glad you’re here.)

Elk and assorted stuff
Where do you get your elk? I’ve never had it before And would love to try it. I’ve found a few places to order online but they seem a bit pricey and I’m not close to anywhere elk live.
I befriend hunters!
I would too if I knew any that hunted Elk.

Gave the wife the Mac n Cheese had a bite it was okay. Corn bread was good but gave that to the wife as well. The BBQ was killer. The guy has won tons of KC Masters grand championships and some Jack Daniel’s world championships and I can see why. The line to get in this place at 4 o’clock was nuts. This was seriously good cue. Burnt ends, sliced brisket, and pork ribs. Brisket is snake river wagyu.
If it is today, happy bday bro.
I think I need to take a trip to Europe just to try your food ![]()
Hahah, I wouldn’t let you leave hungry. Or maybe, you can eat a lot.
Last night’s dinner. Chicken simmered in a jarred jalfrezi curry sauce (minimal, I’m looking for a little flavor, not 100 calories’ worth of goop) with Afghan salad (english cucumbers, sweet onion, seeded diced tomato, cilantro, lemon juice, salt) over rice with steamed broccoli and cauliflower.
Lunch for the week, beef veggie soup. I’ll eat it with rice to add density.

Sunday is always cooking day for me (sad trombone). Occasionally I’ll hit a wall and just do sandwiches for a couple of weeks, but generally I cook my lunches, and dinners as well if my husband is away. My relationship to the way I eat is very love/hate.
I’ve been cooking bigger more often. Having a few good things on hand or quick and easy to pack and run with definitely helps me to choose better and makes controlling sodium intake much easier.
I only cook for myself, but here’s my Sunday “routine”,
- a one kilo slab of beef gets to sit 6-8hrs in the slow-cooker, spiced appropriately,
- a kilo of ground beef gets to sit in the slow-cooker for 3-4hrs,
- 700 grams of chicken filets gets to sit in the slow-cooker for 2-3hrs
And I boil all my rice for the week in a rice-cooker.
I cook my eggs, tuna and shrimp closer to the times when they are actually eaten.
