Wild boar stew
My first attempt at making a breakfast roll. They aren’t a thing here so I had to base myself on what I saw online. It was delicious.
That looks delicious. What’s in it?
Ground beef, red peppers, onions, cheese.
I browned onions with olive oil and threw red peppers on a pan, while on the other one I cooked some ground beef with a bit of butter.
Then I let everything sit together in a single pan for a while and I added cheese (parmesan and brie).
Finally, I added a touch of ketchup once everything was in its place.
Sounds awesome. And I appreciate the use of proper bread underneath it all.
Any spices ??
Nope, but I guess you can work some in
Pro tip: add a liberal smear of mayo on there.
This is not mine, but I went from believing my foodprep game was strong to believing it to be utterly weak just seconds ago,
425+ prepared meals
And mustard- Heinz should sponsor me considering I go through the equivalent of a bottle every 2 days ![]()
Now that is a freezer I could get on board with. And yes, I did spy the pizzas in the door.
Because 426 would be over the top.
I had extra money in the budget so I decided to splurge on beef liver. Perfect medium/medium rare!

Delicious. I love maki and sashimi.
This looks good, I see many cheat meals above.
New side I tried out for Turkey day, “baked ratatouille”. Pretty simple to throw together: eggplant, tomato, zucchini, onion, olive oil, herbes de Provence.
Recipe said to keep the skin on the eggplant, but I’d peel it next time because it stayed pretty tough. Otherwise it was a nice, fresh, non-carby side.
Prepped… cooked.
Effort being made in the kitchen as much as in the gym. This took me about an hour to make, but it was one of the tastiest meals I have ever had.
I felt like video taping it rather than just taking a picture because the consistency made it look so yummy I had to capture that. Here’s a pic of the finished product:
Ingredients:
White rice - as much as it looked good to throw into my pot
Ground meat, mixed beef and pork - 250 g
Tomato sauce (100% tomatoes)
Salt, garlic, origan, onion
Olive oil
Parmesan cheese
Beef stock
Preparation: I kinda just went by feel and did things that seemed good to me. I boiled the rice, and in the meantime I browned garlic and onions with olive oil in a pan. Threw the meat onto the pan to cook with the browned onions, then I got the rice out of the pot when it was halfway done.
I put the rice in a big pan and poured some beef stock, then brought to a boil and I let it simmer until most of the broth was absorbed by the rice. Once the meat was almost done I poured tomato sauce and after a while I added the rice in. I added origan and some more salt then I let it cook and simmer for about 15 minutes, until most of the liquid was gone and I was nice and thick, then I added ground cheese, took the pan off the fire, and let it sit for another 10 minutes.
The things in the oven are my guilty pleasure (aka the one junk food item I really crave all the time), they are called crispy pancakes and are awesome. These ones were mushrooms and cheese flavor.
All in all, this meal was one of the things that make me love life. Should anyone try it lemme know how it comes out!
Sounds perfect.
You’ll be peeling paint off the walls later ![]()
