You apparently have a plan for your body shape that included a bulk, right? I don’t know what a “prow” is so I can’t say “no, your hips aren’t the size of a prow”. But you looked beautiful in that piece.

prow: front of a boat.
bulking, yup, I want to add mass to my overall frame but especially the legs. I’m trying to make it relatively clean. I know bread is the devil for some peeps here so I’m not 100% Mr. Clean.
It’s one thing to know your bulking (why is it I can’t wrap my head around the word), and another thing to see it.
MIM: thanks ![]()
Your creativity just blows me away! Well done and you know you look great!

I think “bulking” conjures images of adding shapeless mass. You are anything but shapeless.
Maybe use “size / strength phase”?..doesn’t really roll off the tongue…dunno.
I was expecting you to do a Spiderman on those pipes ![]()
last night’s sleep was so so. I find I’m just not as tired when I don’t hit the gym. 11:00 roles around and I’m still wide awake where as I’m fighting sleepy eyes at 9:30 on gym days…

did I tell you guys I have a class reunion this weekend? can you tell I’m excited? ugh. a bunch of people who will look at me like I’m nuts 'cause I’m purposly not the slim 115lbs girl I used to be. You lift weights? why? I can hear the questions already.
I betcha that is so not going to happen at your class reunion because you look hawt and awesome. They will be worshipping you instead.
solid training there!
You’re hotter than the 115 lb version of you.
Have fun at the reunion.
very cool video Nlmain! yay for creativity- that does wonders for the soul.
solid workout, i bet that close grip bench was burning. i like to super-set skull-crushers with those in the mix of my chest/tris wrkout.
enjoy yourself at the reunion. 115!? meh-that’s a number that doesn’t correlate to your current awesomeness. i concur, hot and awesome you are.
Wow nlmain! That vid is awesome. I agree, moody and a bit dark - love it! Have you tried stop motion graphics with photos? That would be really cool, especially with your expert eye.
Excellent training! Weighted dips? Incredible. And yeah, i bet that close grip bench killed the tris! Great work.
Thanks for the ego boost everyone. I had time for a 30 minute jog between work and a buddy’s b-day supper this evening. She actually chose a genuine cuban restaurant…um as far as I’m concerned cuba isn’t known for it’s awesome foods but what the hell, the mojitos rocked and I had 3 of em.
have a nice weekend everyone
N
I’m kind of disappointed at how you’re clearing sandbagging your last work out. There really wasn’t much going on there was there? ha. Nice dips.
Have fun at the reunion. One thing I noticed at my high school reunion was that everyone looked like shit and that was only 10 years after.
the reunion was kinda small afterall. less than half the class showed up (we were 28) so it turned into a quaint evening between a dozen people, had some wine and chit chatted. was it hell? no. but somehow I feel I lost a couple hours of my life for some strangers. honestly there were a few peeps I was happy to see but anywho, I faced the abyss and now I move forward. Today had a nice long walk in the woods. looking forward to lift some heavy shit tomorrow.

Lady - I felt the same after my 30th reunion last year. The only one I’ve attended and the only one I’ll ever attend.
lift heavy!
I’ve never done any kind of reunion. I have fond memories of some people from my past, but I’m one of those who likes to leave the past where it belongs. I have one school friend I keep in touch with, and that’s it.
Walking in the woods sounds nice and therapeutic. Least, that’s how it is for me. I spend so long hunching over a computer that I have a real need to go surround myself with nature every so often.
wow you are so creative. that animation was awesome!
Look at the PR’s, bulking does a body good…
Fuck it’s Deja! thanks for the compliment, hope your hangin well!
Soldog & Cal: totally agree with you guys. Probably would have skipped if the husband hadn’t wanted to go (we were in the same class) but it would have been weird if he showed up without the wife at this reunion. The woods were very therapeutic for my shot nerves. Actually I got in my silly head that I want to head out to the woods more often but I hate tents - too cold and wet. I would love a little 70’s gypsy or trillium. something I could tow with my altima. Problem with living in the city is having to pay to store it anywhere. But I haven’t put a cross on that project, I just need to figure out the kinks.
Joe: bulking has really upped my game. I still have a few more weeks of this bliss and then back to the hamster wheel. On the good side I’m only 5-10lbs away from my ideal weight. I haven’t turned my eating into a free for all so dropping a few pounds should be easy, basically a question of tightning up the carbs and turning on the treadmill.
So tonight was deads night. Had insomnia again last night and figured today would be a shitty gym day. I would have been happy with showing up and moving around, turns out I was fueled by some aggravation at work. it’s got it’s uses.
deadlift
135lbs 1x5
155lbs 1x5

250lbs 2x1 PR +5lbs happy dance - I tried to picture Oro’s stance and determined face as she hauled 335lbs up. Thanks for the inspiration/motivation!! Funny how the same weight feels lighter and heavier on different days…
Dumbell shoulder press
