It’s from a line in a silly movie, only now I forget what movie…
lol - love the vid MIM.
We want to see you do the sprinting, hand flapping included…
Also, you can speak frenchie to me any time…
N, glad you are feeling better and training so hard!!! Those workouts make me tired just reading them!!! That stir fry recipe looks yummy, just substitute chicken for the shrimp (I dun like seafood)!! Love the hubby’s response to the pix and the treadmill guy!
Hi! I’m really enjoying your posts, especially the food descriptions. Spaghetti squash…yum! Giving me a little kitchen inspiration down here in Miami, although our squash probably isn’t as good as yours.

Bonsoir Mr. Joe, j’espÃ?¨re que vous avez passer une belle journee et que votre dos ne vous fait pas trop soufrire. (I’m too tires to check my grammar properly though. tough.)
I keep my hands “karate chop” style to create a good momentum and to scare the little old ladies.
edit: frenchie accent got screwed in translation.
Thanks Greenie and Fishe - I honestly believe it’s easy to cook form scratch if you have a few basics to pull from. Salsa, curry ect for flavours. fresh veggies, a variety of proteins…

was planning to do some hypers and GHR but ran out of time. Felt very slow today, work gobbled up most of my energy. Gym took me 1.5 hours so I called it a day. Nice set of PR’s but remember I’m only doing set of 3 reps which I’ve never done on any of my accessory work. This leaves room for added weight.
notes: I’ve never done supersetting before because my gym is small and cramped. I thought through my program to organize my sets around my gym layout. hence if I need a bench for something I’ll pull my other exercises around it. same for squat rack. smarter than running all over the gym waiting for stuff to be available.
Also I’ve been going to my little gym for 5 years now so nobody ever blinks at me but there was a new member tonight. Tall thin woman who kept staring at me while I was benching my 45’s and skull crushing my 50. Felt kinda awkward. meanwhile she was curling her 5lbs. I know a lot of you go through this very often but I haven’t in a very long while. Kinda forgot how annoying it is.
Damn those GMs are intense.
Glad you can still keep it up with the hard workouts, they look fun.
Sometimes I think “I’ll just like to see any woman in the weights room with me” then I see them doing 30+ reps without breaking a sweat on a machine or searching for 3 lb DBs and correct myself; “I’ll just like to see a woman in the gym who’s not afraid to go hard.”
You gm 155 but only sq 165? Something is amiss here…

relearning squat form. I’ve been a quarter squater for ever. Went from 65 to 165 since spring.
Oh I see, what’s your ht/wt, for some reason I thought you were tiny…
I wanna sit on you, I mean 155lbs ![]()
Haha. lookin good. Is that a recent shot?
Thanks MIM:)
that pic was taken back in March after a really good workout hence the sweat and pump.
Here’s one a took 2 minutes ago to compare. My workout was 3 hours ago so I’m guessing there’s some risidual pump in there too.
nice! too bad the frame wasn’t larger…
And that’s a really nice set
(of PRs, I mean)
Oohhh. Nice pictures on this page. ![]()
Yeah, I sympathize with being stared at like a zoo animal. Usually its not by other women, though, so that would be a new one on me too.
Pullups and dips disappear quickly when you haven’t trained them in awhile. Same thing with pushups. You’ll get them back before you know it.
How on earth did you manage to get a DB behind your head for the decline sits without impaling your neck on the dumbbell when hitting the bench? I have utterly failed to master this, and using plates always leaves a mark on my neck that look vampiric.
