My phone ran out of battery so alarm didn’t sound

What a bummer! Happens to me frequently too. Probably my most efficient way of ruinining a perfectly good day. :face_in_clouds: Hope you were able to get your stuff done anyway!

Alright, I gotta few

  • I confess that, the Mrs and I went out for a lovely lunch on Friday. We went to our favorite local pizza spot, wherein I ordered a keto crust (confession 1) pepperoni lovers 8" (confession 2) pizza. Our server, who we know on a first name basis and absolutely love, brought out my pizza and said “I’m having them make you another one: this one doesn’t have enough pepperoni on it for a pepperoni lovers pizza”. I sat there, patiently waiting my “real” pizza’s arrival, thinking “how great: now I can bring this other pizza home and have it some other time”.

  • Folks: why did I NOT have TWO pizzas for lunch? That’s confession 3.

  • I confess that, while recovering from a bout of RSV, my wife made me an entire “practice Thanksgiving” turkey, and all I ate was both drumstricks and both wings alongside with some sides. That was my chance to eat an entire turkey in one sitting and I blew it.

  • That particularly upsets me, because after hurting my hamstring on rep 15 of Super Squats, I packed it in (confession 5), only to ask myself “what would Bruce Randall do?” which led to me doing 20 breathing good mornings (redemption 1). But…Bruce Randall ALSO would have eaten the whole turkey.

  • I confess that the meatloaf I’m having tonight if more than half bison (redemption 2)…but the rest of it is turkey breast (confession 6). But I intend to make sandwiches out of it, like the great Pat Casey (redemption 3).

  • I confess to putting Christmas Crunch cereal in my post workout protein yogurt this morning (I feel like that’s a few dozen confessions in one)

So, I’m still pretty far behind here.

You just had to mention sandwiches and make me hungry. I have just finished a chicken curry and rice not more than 15 mins ago and after reading your post I am off to make a PBJ sarni. Peace out.

I confess that the coaches here have WAY more patience than I ever could have, and are proof of why I won’t put out programs or take on clients.

EVERY SINGLE TIME a program gets posted, it’s immediately met with “This looks great, but can I swap squats out with hammer curls and instead of training twice a week can I do it 6x? Also, I my gym doesn’t have weights so I just use trashbags filled with water”

I confess that TikTok is doing a very great job of exposing me to new information on personal financing. What I mean by new information is something that I never knew before………….

What’s upsetting is how financially illiterate I am, all this f*cking annoying a** jargon used in accounting, stock market, etc,

I need to take the time to understand this nonsense, as it could benefit me a lot. Also I genuinely believe America wants people to be financially stupid….just my opinion.

Look on the bright side. Now you know.

Consider it another area to get stronger in.

I’d be careful of what you’re taking in from TikTok. Half (probably more) of the people offering financial advice are either wrong or lying.
