My theory is the same for bedding as it is for shoes.
It takes a while for you to get broken in to them. Favorite pillows & stuff are made, not bought!
Exception: I slept on the ground in a sleeping bag for a birthday/sleep over cap in the yard thing in June this year though, and that was the best sleep I’ve gotten in years. I found a small nook on the ground that fit perfectly and slept like an angel. Woke up feeling like a million bucks.
Everybody else appeared to have been hit by a bus.
Bought a $3500 Tempurpedic last Summer. In the last few months, I wake up with back pain that subsides after an hour or so. When I travel and sleep in hotel beds, I don’t get the same pain.
Well Brett’s knowledge has been called into question many times. He has been torn a new one by Kassem, Paul Carter and Mike Israetel. His glute training, among other things.
YES! This is EXACTLY what happened to me. Now I turned it around and still woke up with around 1/2 of the pain I had when sleeping on the “orthopedic” thing on the other side. It’s just a normal pocket spring mattress with around 7/10 firmness without that stupid topping. I have no bloody idea why I’m still getting pain.
I was so fucking busy working and studying I slept on an old recliner that had caved in around EOD for months with my laptop lol and there was mid back pain. I don’t even have a history of pain in that area. It’s the area near the two nerve things at the lower back that flares up. Didn’t flare up with the new mattress. This shit is weird lol.
Ok, I’ve got a confession but it’s a product that’s not sold here so I won’t even give a hint of what it is other than it’s protein powder.
It tastes so good, I keep it by the bed and just dump a scoop into my mouth (RELAX. I know I can choke to death because I almost did a long time ago lol so I know what NOT to do) a couple of times a night.
Sometimes people grab like 3 sets of DBs and arrange them under the bench they’re sitting on. Like a chicken sitting on some eggs. I always get a kick out of that.
