Its probably ribeye

No idea. The owner’s Son in Law had no idea either… lol
The ones online are shanks.

Those don’t look like shanks. The bone in a shank would be rounder and filled with marrow. The bone looks like a rib and the meat looks wrapped manually

It looks stupid whatever it is.:joy:

It looks like someone done ruined a perfectly good tomahawk ribeye to me.

Ruined is the right word.

It looks like they took some scraps and trimmings and rolled it into something Fancy.

Waste not, want not!

I’m here to confess that while the Viking hammer steak marketing may be dumb, it will probably sell a lot better than something labeled as a ”Meat Sword”.

I confess that I stopped for some post-workout flexing in my son’s mirror as I passed it in the hallway just now.

I confess that, in so doing, I discovered I can sort of see the teardrop in each of my still-pumped quads.

I confess that I was unjustifiably excited by that discovery.

Bowling is hard.

I went with some friends and scored 0 for the game…

I don’t feel so bad being 120 average bowler now.

I confess that, sometimes, holding my tongue doesn’t seem like it’s worth it.

For probably the 7th time in the past 6 months today, in the break room, a co-worker in his 50s has mentioned something along the lines of “ah I used to be like you, but just wait, someday you’ll be like me” referring to his portliness.

I usually just say that the apocalypse is on my side so I don’t need to worry about it. But what I’d like to say is “dude, stfu, you were never like me, and I’ll never be like you” and it means more than just the physical state of being.

FWIW, I turn 59 in a few weeks. My dad used to always tell me I was going to be a fat diabetic, just like him.

I’m currently 6’1", 205 @18%BF (handheld, not that accurate). Abs peaking out.

I will never be like him.

In my early 20’s I worked I worked in gyms, and there I heard “just wait 'til you’ve had a kid!” Had a kid at 25, and worked in a weight loss center. Heard “just wait 'til you’ve had a couple!” Had three more (total four) and people stopped saying it. I’m in my 50’s now, and while I don’t look like 23-year-old me, I also don’t look like them. Not even a little bit. And as you point out, they NEVER looked like me.

I confess my reward for an awesomely terrible deadlift workout was packing myself a second pumpkin yogurt at work and I genuinely don’t know who I am anymore.

I confess that I’m struggling with my body currently - Covid was hard on me in this regard. I gained 30 lbs and couldn’t seem to find the will to work out. Still, in thinking about the above posts and given that I’m much older than most of the women posting here, I want to sort of post from the future.

This is what 46 looked like (again, four children, all c-section, born between ages 25-30):

Here is last month. I’ve lost 10 or so of the 30 pounds and am dialed back in to my workouts.

Again, I’m not proud of this one, but at the same time…maybe I am, big-picture-wise. Because while I’m not where I like to keep myself (will check in in February hopefully) I’m able to leave my car behind and vacation on my bicycle. (Excuse weird angle. Bike and legs are not significantly bigger than everything else. lol)

Exercise/training are the fountain of youth.

Old dudes always like to blame some high school injury that never happened for their being +50lbs overweight.

Sadly one of my classmates passed away last weekend. I still see a few here in town in my day to day life but the majority I haven’t seen in years. Along with the outpouring of sympathy was a lot of motivation for me. Petty, I know but… I couldn’t help but think I need to keep at it. Though I have had some setbacks, it has not been in vain.

We’ve established that previous generations were “tougher” and had a more aggressive mindset than the snowflakes of today. And that they had more Test than us. Plus they had better food, no blue light messing with their sleep, and less Phyto Estrogens floating around. They had muscled up actors to admire and they worked more physical jobs. They were hyper focused and Bench Pressing and not Cross Fit.

Is it so hard to believe they benched more than the current generation?
