Flame Free Confession III: Even More Flame Free (Part 2)

You’re wasting time listening to that trash? It’s pretty much indistinguishable from the US stuff, even the face tattoos are the same. Granted, they’re maybe more misogynistic, but not much.

Try old-school Siberian punk

Or anything from Viktor Tsoi and Kino for that matter

I know. but I’m not distracted by the lyrics

I’m not a fan of punk

oh. THis reminds me of Chinese music in the 70s/80s

In my student days, I found that Eastern Bloc synth pop was perfect for all nighters.

Same here. Do you have any favorite singers or songs?

There’s some great music in what I think of as the “neo-traditional” genre, too:

@anna_5588 you might dig this, too.

Listen to the first song on good speakers or earphones so you can hear the full harmonies and melodies.

Isn’t that just an axle or is it thinner?

Thinner. It’s a barbell.

So an ultra stiff bar then?

S cubed stands for “straight, strong, stiff”.

Wider diameter, longer, stiff and handles HUGE weights. But primarily because its an Ironmind bar.

After helping drag an antelope 800 yards, I realized my lack of specific grip training this past year was not a wise choice. It feels like even the bones in my fingers hurt.

They make rope harnesses specific for this purpose don’t they?

I confess I’ve a problem with gym memberships, I now have 3.

That’s it? That’s not a problem, that’s just now getting into “hobby” territory

Not a flame, but a genuine question - wouldn’t adding up the cost of those extra 2 memberships for a year or two add up to the cost of a pretty sweet home gym? Or do you have one of those already, haha.

I can’t speak for him but a year membership for me wouldn’t even buy one of my barbells let alone a home gym lol

True - I’ve seen ones for 100 a month and ones for 20 a month - guess it totally depends.

Suppose it would depend a lot on both the gym price and your home gym setup.

Say $20 a month for a gym, so $40 for 2, thats $480 a year, 960 for 2. Little light to build a nice home gym, though definitely possible if you shop around.

Now if it’s like $50 a month per gym, now 2 years is around $2400, and you have a kickass home setup.

Edit: you beat me to my point in your reply approx 3 seconds before I posted lol.

Both valid points. I canceled my $100 a month one ASAP lol but I’ll let a $10 a month ones stay. It’s came in handy a couple times

I confess I ate a protein bar with a fork and knife today :joy:
