Donnie Yen was the dude that gave us THIS:
Then he made SPL in 2005. This is where they got the knife flip scene in The Winter Soldier.
THIS movie, Flashpoint(2007) was the one that changed the way martial arts fights were filmed and choreographed all over the world. It wasn’t The Raid. You see his jump back kick? That was a Donnie Yen signature move in ALL his movies all the way from the 80s. Chris Evans did in The Winter Soldier.
Why? Why did he have to make the fucking Ip Man series? Of all the fucking Southern Styles, why Wing Chun? WHY? It’s fucking BORING.
