I stopped buying consoles at the Wii. I was really hoping my son would want a switch for Christmas, but no. I would like to play Zelda: breath of the wild…lol

Our neighbor got one this summer so that go the ball rolling. We had one of those retro game packs with Pac man, Galaga, all of the old arcade games, but it kinda crapped out on us, so, there we went.

I just wanted to play Mario Bro’s. like when I was a kid.

When I was about 10 years old my aunt gave me her original NES with a Zapper and the original Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt. Still play it once in awhile for nostalgia’s sake and for a large dose of humility.

I got an Instant Pot from my in-laws for Christmas.

I confess I squealed like a little girl when I opened it.

I pretty much got into engineering and software when I found out how they made that gun work. My mind was blown, it was like a magic trick haha

I still tell people how amazing it is and they still get an unimpressed look on their face  Not long until the kids are ready to hear about this ingenious solution

I love the instant pot so much I made us get a second one.

And I have 3 slow cookers.

And an outdoor foreman grill…and a smokeless indoor grill.

I really have a thing for plug in cooking electronics.

But you are in for a treat. Instant pots are just awesome.

We bought the Switch for our kids for Christmas a couple of years back, was a good buy, I used to be very into gaming (I’d like to still be but have zero spare time haha) Zelda was the one game I actually managed to carve out time for, was worth it, great game!

The only Zelda game I liked was the one that is roundly criticized - Zelda II. I habe always been confused at how roundly loved most other versions of this game are how much the second one isn’t.

Flame Free.

My favorite as well. Much better playstyle. Music is awesome too. And who could forget

As a younger sibling, I spent a lot of time WATCHING the Zelda games. Whenever I tried playing them, I found out I lacked the talent and patience, but Zelda II fit me well.

I confess that I’m absolutely sick of dips and pull-ups. Those are pretty much all I can do right now and all I’ve been doing for the past 2 months, and going to the park knowing that’s what my workout is going to look like is a bit saddening. I can also do curls and raises with a single dumbbell I have, but that’s about it. Oh and push-ups.

I’ve been trying to make it somewhat less boring but it’s hard. Weighted Dips, banded pull-ups one day, pull-ups alternating with dips another day… Today I’ll try something like get 100 reps in as few sets as possible.

Two things I miss the most: being able to bench or just do barbell pushing exercises in general, and being able to train shoulders properly. The other day I tried a lateral raise to upright row to ohp combo with two dbs borrowed from my friend, but the weights felt all over the place (too heavy for the raises in particular).

I’m just going through the motions at this point, hoping gyms will open again soon. But I ain’t giving up, even when hating every second of it.

Not sure if they’re still a thing, but Nintendo DS had Mario bros

It’s all good. I just found out that I can become a pretty pink princess that flys through the air, propelled by sparkle farts after she gets nutted on by a squirrel.

I don’t know what game this is… sounds like some kind of hentai/strange pornographic video game (not judging, I checked those types of games out on Newgrounds once when I was around sixteen). But if you’re interested in playing Super Mario Bros again this should satisfy the urge

So I watched Thor 3 the other day. And I’ve got a confession about Chris Hemsworth.

He looked lean - but tiny.

He was significantly smaller than he looked in the first movie. And only a touch bigger than Cate Blanchett who was playing Hela. In fact he looked f smaller than Jeof Goldblum which just made the whole thing difficult to watch.

It’s super Mario U. or something. I’m just goofing with my man skill of turning virtually anything into something raunchy.
