I looked for remote blockchain developers. One guy who had “years of solid experience in blockchain development” contacted me. Asked him to create a simple Dapp, which I’m pretty fucking sure have been around for a couple of years. Dude asked me what it was.
My brain was about to explode.
EDIT:
Eventually found one but the sheer audacity some of these people have when they put shit they don’t even understand on their CVs blows my mind. It’s why I look normally look at fucking portfolios first but some of them will tell me crap about non-disclosure agreements and shit…
Actual confession:
I have developed a really short fuse, which is really out of character for me even though I can be a calculated asshole, when it comes to managing IT related projects because I don’t fucking understand it and my usual collaborators whom I have lots of trust in are too busy with other projects and facing manpower shortages of their own.
Another confession:
I’ve developed great respect for the IT community as a whole because of their collaborative culture that I’ve never seen before in any other industry.
I get that much of this stems from calculated business models from Microsoft, e.g, making lots of shit free(open source) so they can sell more of the B2B shit that’s not free, and the like in the pursuit of maximal profits, but the fact that the rest of the industry as a whole has adopted such a culture without such an intent is mind boggling to me.
