Pretty sure it’s a Calling which is actually closer to XC than DH on the bike spectrum. Squarly a trail bike… an all-arounder.
What will really blow your mind is the pricetag for that motorless bike haha.

have you tried buying a decent, imported bike in China ![]()
I’ve seen a few of the composites. It’s like a regular moly or aluminum tube frame x 10!
A buddy of mine has a Ghost that is a couple of years old, but I’ve only doodled around with it. No real rides.
Little bit of everything but it’s not enough bike for real down hill like you’d find at a bike park. I’d rent one for that.
Went a little over board on my first ride back in over a year
. Legs are JELLO did 18 miles this afternoon
Where do you ride? Did you demo before buying? What was your previous bike?
Alabama. Did not demo. Last couple bikes have been full carbon Pivots, a 429 and a switchblade to be exact.
Edit: live in Alabama but will be rising here Tennessee Georgia and North Carolina. Everywhere else I’ll rent a bike.
I’ve ridden a buddies 429 a couple times. Fun poppy bike. No need for cardio when you can just go for a rip around the woods on your bike! Really good active recovery after a leg day too- helps to loosen up my legs and core pedaling and moving around on the bike descending. Great add for workout and mentals.
It’s insane cardio and a great leg workout. I had veins bulging out of both quads today and at one point couldn’t pedal or walk ![]()
Classic “skinny fat”, which is worse than being just fat. When you’re just fat, at least you know you should be doing something to address the problem.
Any explanation for the strange pose, or was that genetic also?
I once rode up a series of steep hills. On the 3rd one I got a quad cramp. Quad cramps are fucked up, I had to pull over, jump off the bike and kneel down to keep my quads from locking up.
Did it right Infront of a guy watering his garden. He comes over to see if I died or something lol
I think it’s worse. The general population is parroting the words of lots of wannabe trainers’ whose understanding and/or interpretation of science is either terrible, dishonest or terribly dishonest.
No shit. Second only to ab cramps.
Ab cramps can always be cured with a seal stretch. Quad cramps can be fixed, but it’s way harder and usually you just end up riding out the misery. Quad cramps usually happen when I stand up after sitting down for an extended period of time, and then I drop to the floor in a heap.
Seriously? Thanks cos I’m still paranoid when training abs directly because I would get a guaranteed ab cramp doing that when I was hypothetically using stuff.
Straight up. The second your abs cramp up, roll over and push up into a seal stretch. When they subside, don’t just drop out of it and stand up - ease yourself out of it. But a deep seal stretch will take care of any Ab cramp, within seconds.
“No, no, just enjoying my leisure time, getting healthy 'cause it feels so good!”
I confess that perusing the TRT subforum confirms an important implication of the Dunning-Kruger Effect: If one asks internet strangers for medical advice, the only people who feel confident enough to respond are those on either Mount Stupid or the Plateau of Sustainability, and the Plateau folk are (for various reasons) very reluctant to do so.
(Flame free)
Ever noticed you all ways find the same people at the top of mount stupid?
You’d have thought that once someone’s been to the peak once or twice - they’d learn.
My favorite was a pharma thread a few days ago about nasty Tren side effects. And the quote from OP was that he was doing test and tren “for fun”.
WTF? you are going to permanently change your hormonal profile “for fun”. The lack of logic impresses me.
I am convinced Bang Energy “Birthday Cake” flavor is a sick joke. It is disgusting.
