Having had C-diff and multiple kids, there are definitely distinct “sick” number 2s and number 1s. Personally, I can also tell from my own urine when my blood sugar is off.
Confession:
People who fit shame to avoid the obvious health benefits any sort or dietary restraint or organised exercise regime would bring to their lives are scum.
“You don’t have to be skinny to be happy”.
You are right there. However having to stop 3 times on a flight of stairs because you’re too fat and unfit to carry on is hardly conducive to a happy demeanor.
It is if there is a box of ho-ho’s at the top! ![]()
Can’t shame some-one who isn’t ashamed.
Seriously - if anyone ever tries to shame me about being such an Adonis, I’ll take it as a compliment no matter how they phrase it or how they intend it.

She’s a fat fuck as well.
Lol yeah, I’ve seen people throw all BBers under the bus but then get upset if anyone groups all overweight people as lazy, gluttonous, slobs.

Fit Shaming is a thing.
I’ve been on the other side of a few conversations with “those that dont train”, and they look down on me on all the time I spend training, and that I watch what I eat.
surprised that the term Fit Shaming hasnt made it in the lexicon.
oh well - it’s the cross we bear, amirite?
It irritates me that this stuff always boils down to looks as well. As if the only reason not to stuff your face with MacDonalds is so that people will still want to get in your pants.
You know what might make you unhappy? Not being able to look after your grandkids because you ate yourself into a wheelchair. Not being able to play with them at the park because you haven’t exercised in 10 years and even the walk their got you out of breathe. It’s not just about looks, it’s about being able to do the things that make you and those you love happy for as long as possible.
My parents literally don’t believe in the need for progressive overload ![]()

As I said this week. SOME BB’s are probably not very healthy. But trying to improve the way you look, even for vanitys sake should not been seen as inherently bad.
Otherwise hair cuts are a sign if mental health issues.
I’m pretty sure that some of them are.
I had one of my friends parents ask me once why I work out so much.
The only answer I could come up with was " you know how you feel when you drive around in that hot-rod mustang of yours? That’s how I feel all the time"
It shut them up~
Heaven forbid they change their attitude towards their body by improving it.
Curious if this stems from part Asian culture. Many of the students i met in undergraduate school from Asian seemed to have this ingrained in them. Especially for the females, building any kind of muscle appeared to be their biggest fear.
Working with a bunch of very out of shape engineers, I get this almost daily.
“Why are your arms so big? Don’t you think they are big enough?”
You mean I should make them big like the 22” of fat you call an upper arm?
A few dudes at my work I am sure have 60+ inch waists. I am not even sure how they get shoes on, let alone wipe their backside.
It’s time for a confession:
I have more trouble understanding spoken British English than I do American.
Posted a couple of vids on FB this week and my father in laws comments was ‘how can you actually enjoy doing that’ !!
I haven’t even bothered responding as it’s just a waste of time trying to explain it to people who will never understand.
Cause we don’t.
Funny thing, my mom actually said she thought my arms were getting too big ![]()
I took it as a compliment
One thing that is currently shitting me is it’s been what? 8 months of COVID? We know that if you are under 60 then your biggest risks around dying are nearly all driven by being fat.
You can drop a fuck-ton of weight in 8 months but instead we tell (force in some cases) people to stay home, let them drink themselves into a stupor so if the virus doesn’t get them friggin depression will. Not a single message or any campaign to get people to get their fat asses into shape as a protective measure against COVID and against mental health issues
