I confess I’m addicted to this song. I blast it loud as I can and close my eyes.
The Way To Hell
Yeah, they’re all around great. I’m embarrassed to admit this, being a musician, but I rarely pick up on time signature changes in songs. Tempo, yes; key, yes; but I don’t pick up well on time. haha If I’m gonna play it, I just learn the notes and the feel. I think he’s also playing an 8-string guitar there and is avoiding stepping on the bassist’s toes. That’s super impressive from an arrangement standpoint.
Given your country calls the British equivalent of a “Dollar Store” a “Pound Town”, I really wouldn’t be throwing rocks here.

Our family friends brought ribs over and we’re going to the Chinese market, which means there’s a high chance of roast duck and char siu.
I confess this is giving me extreme anxiety

Just eat - it’ll help with your anxiety
Haha I was the same when I used to play years back!
This was commented on the video before. I never would have figured it out

@polo77j good stuff man! Thanks for that!
haha, I’m just trying to remind myself that I DON’T have to eat ALL the meat ![]()
I had the opportunity to eat legit peking duck in Beijing before. Man, I really miss that
I had it once in Xian. The sauce they gave to dip the duck skin in was heavenly.

Are you British? Only those as tasteless as the brits call the sauce heavenly over the skin or eat Peking duck in xian ![]()
Granted, Beijing is a pretty shit city, but Shanghai has great spots, along with amazing Cantonese places for a different take
I confess that, as much as I think neurotyping is ridiculous, I give credit where credit is due with CT being the most prolific and responsive coach to ever have a coaching section on t-nation. So many others either completely abandoned it in record time or come back once every 3 months to call someone stupid and go back into hiding.
And I don’t say that second part to disparage those coaches, but more to highlight how awesome Thibs is for how long he has stuck with it and the patience he has displayed.
I often wondered if coach Thibs was all hes cracked up to be, given his continued effort on here. I though why would a genuinely world renowned coach give out some much free advice. Surely it’s something for aspiring coaches with a point to prove.
I spent about 1/4 hour looking at his client list and yeah, hes the real deal.
I’m grateful. But I dont understand it. Its overly generous.
He’s got a treasure trove of training templates just typed up as responses in his forum. Really cool of him to do all that over the years.
Lol. Some of my ancestors were but I’m American as apple pie. I should clarify that the duck skin dipped into the sauce was amazing. I didn’t taste the sauce on its own. I only spent one night in Shanghai and had noodles with a terrific hot chile sauce.
Not even sure what you are getting at here. But down here we have $$ and we call it the Reject shop cause that’s where all the rejects shop !!

I’m not the brightest tool (pun intended, I confess) in the shed…
But in certain lexicons, “nosh” and “pound” are apparently synonyms.
You’ve been around longer than I; have there been any other coaches besides the 3 current ones?
Deff not down here. I was clearly in a very different wave length to everyone else.
Yea. Meadows and Waterbury did years ago. There’s been a few others as well, who I can’t recall.
Charles Poliquin, Ian King, John Davies, Charles Staley, Paul Catanzaro, Mike Roussel, Dave Barr, Lonnie Lowerie, John Berardi…
The list is looooong. Not in this current format, but accessibility for Q&A has always been a great feature of this site.
