Wait, you workout?

Guy that owns the little gym in town bought a bunch of new equipment. They had an open house yesterday and posted pics. Drops thousands of dollars on new machines and leaves the 35 lb barbells that have been worn out for at least five years. I don’t get it.

you a funny guy…

I didn’t get to push the sled however … as the Universe plays jokes, it has taken from me a necessary piece of hardware without which I can’t attach the 2 parts of my e-prowler…guess it’s a price I pay for neglecting this piece of equipment

…for now … I’m stepping out after this meeting I’m not paying attention to to pick up some stuff from the grocery store and to pick up the bolt I’m missing

Doesn’t this represent a serious majority of meetings during the whole quarantine period? We’re really figuring out which meetings are important…right?

haha for sure

I don’t know … I think it was warranted considering I think his Physics 1 had to do with baking bread and why it didn’t rise…total nerd shit

Biology and chemistry might have been more useful in that case :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Not a ā€œhardā€ science

I hated chemistry so much - I will do everything I can not to think about it again.

Microbiology in the case of bread making with a good dash of organic chemistry would not hurt!

Good to see you around, bud. Hope you’re well.

Edit: looks like you have sort of been around, but I haven’t seen a post from you in forever for whatever reason, so yeah.

It has to be difficult for me to be a nerd no? :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t think physics 1 covers gaseous dispersion of a viscous liquid haha

Granted I haven’t taken advanced chem, but it doesn’t seem that bad

I had to watch a video of Mel Gibson playing Hamlet in literature class. It was traumatizing. Never recovered from that ordeal. Fuck literature.

Exaggerating a bit. But seriously, this scene needs a separate laugh track.

I always took you for a SAMA and PWI troller.

Thanks dude … yea, been in and out sporadically

Hope you and yours are well…

Back in the day I used to post a bit in Beginners and Powerlifters a good deal. But there are far more knowledgeable posters than I in those forums - but the bulk of my posting was/is in SAMA, Off Topic and PWI.

I’ll lurk in conditioning, o-lifts, beginners, etc. but most of what I’d want to say has usually already been said in a lot of those posts…

I confess that my kid broke my spirit yesterday as I attempted to teach them some Tae Kwon Do and they attempted to teach me patience, so I fell to my old standby of peanut butter toast. I’ve let my wife know that, if she ever sees me eating that at night, it’s a sign I had a rough day. But it also always seems magical.

And I also confess I’m using this as a springboard to brag, because despite my nutritional deviance, I woke up 1lb lighter than the day before and the leanest I’ve ever been at this bodyweight
