I already posted this in the testosterone replacement forum but I will post it here as well if any of you guys would like to share your thoughts about it. I am a 26 year old guy, used to be a regular gym rat and I have done many diets before and got shredded on multiple occasions. But, recently I have been struggling < with low energy most of the time and no drive to do anything, I even lost motivation to hit the gym and it is all because of my job which unfortunately I can’t quit yet.
But next year I a moving to Germany and to do so I have to keep working and also dedicate some time to study but I couldn’t find the motivation to do that. So I was thinking maybe I should hop on TRT for this year, 120 mg per week, to increase energy and drive for this period of time then try to get my testicles to work again with the help of an endocrinologist.
So, do you guys think that is a sound idea, or is it dumb and I may risk getting infertile as I am willing to have kids in the future?
Thank you for reading!
Would something like welbutrin or addrral be more in line with your goals and symptoms? And as already suggested get blood work. Maybe you are low T and TRT could work for you
I dont agree that this is a good idea. I believe there can be 200 reasons for you to feel this way, and only one of those could be fixed by steroids.
Maybe you need to drink more water. Maybe some vitamin or mineral defficiency. Maybe you need to incorporate very hard HIT cardio into your life. Maybe you need to incorporate long walks in the woods. Maybe meditation. Maybe NO FAP. Also, not to insult, but maybe you just are a lil bitch(we all tend to be like this sometimes).
I think steroids is the last thing to do. You are 26, not 46.
I will try to get that, last time I did it was after a cycle and I bounced back all the way to 620 ng. dl , but that was 2 years ago and I was a student, so no work stress.
Thank you for your input, I really appreciate it. Not sure I will jump on anti-depressant now but I would try Aderall if I can get my hands on some. I think my main issue revolves around high stress rather than low T
hhhh none taken, but I think the issue is job related stress as it is a performance depending job, so i am always afraid to get bad reviews and that made me stressed out all the times and saped my energy. Also, I am sorry i didn’t put that in but I had already been on a cycle before.
My advice would be not to - but I do understand if you do.
Using AAS for reasons other than muscle growth etc is definitely more likely to result in long term “abuse”.
You won’t want to go back to “normal”, since you aren’t running it for aesthetic reasons, you are using to change how you feel.
I am making the assumption you will run 300mg or slightly above TRT doses.
120mg… will that be worth shutting down HPTA or even be much above your natty levels?
That is also true, I think I might try ashwagandha and zma and maybe some Rhodiola and see if they can help. Thank you so much for taking the time to reply to my questions
Why not try enclomiphene first? TRT is not necessarily permanent, but it’s going to be a bitch to get off it if you want. Enclomiphene won’t give you that issue. Disclaimer: always consult a healthcare professional.
