The pic you posted which is 2 years old: Its so amazing how people can change their look.
You look completely different. Although your face and its shape looks more “handsome” when you were leaner.
I am no model or sth like that,so i can´t give good advice. nly a friend of mine once modelled for BOSS, buth this was 6 years ago and he had to loose mass-not weight but muscles because he was just too big.
So my take on this-think which target costumers you want to reach and concentrate on that.
BTW: Are you working with sets across, ramped or near failure on each set?
great progress!!! the hard(er) part may be maintaining that level of conditioning after you are done dieting (which im assuming you want to do since this is about fitness modeling). I know after my show shelby told me to forget about cardio for the off season and gave me a baseline amount of macros to start a mass phase with. I havent gained that much scale weight (been very conservative withthe diet) but i really did fill back in quickly(my lower abs, my obliques and lowerback/lowerlats).good luck.
Maybe finding a good agent might be the wise firt step.
If you find none, you saved $$.
Maybe you should answer your own question.
When you take the hiring person shoes, and you would hire that stranger, well invite the dude who sent pics for an audition will be the time to invest $$ send pics etc…
That dude that write at the bottom of pics will be improved soon, i guess is now on your black list for wasting your time.
Just my little 2 cents.
looking good! are you going to start modeling now? I have a few friends who built their portfolios initially through free shoots - photographers looking to build their own portfolios initially.

I have to think about it. I’m not sure if I have the “look” to be honest. And it’s definitely a serious time investment to put something together only to be rejected and in over my head. I tend to look ATHLETIC over AESTHETIC when I lean out, if that makes sense. Luckily this time around I had the sense to actually train like a bodybuilder so it made a little bit of difference. I need to consult with a few people I trust for honest feedback…guys like Shelby who really know the business.
I will definitely be taking the route of finding photographer friends to make a free portfolio for me…as I have no money…lol.
Hey, nice work and good luck - to me it looks like you’ve got a few strengths that should play out well in a physique competition. Small obliques, narrowish waist, and for sure a good foundation of size - you’ll probably be one of the bigger guys out there.
I’ve never competed but I watched a physique competition at the Arnold. The experience pretty much killed any desire I previously may have had to try it myself. I don’t think I could pull off the huge fake smile or the level of gayness with which the quarter turns and posing are executed.
So you may want to get comfortable with those aspects…maybe just put on your favorite board shorts (or for your comp, the steve reeves cutoffs) and traipse around the house frequently with a huge fake smile while you practice different ways of contracting your abs, all while still looking somewhat relaxed to acheive that optimal look. It might also help if you could find some shorts that help de-emphasize your legs size a little bit.
Please come back and post pics and let us know how it all went. I’m about your size - 5’11, 186ish at a somewhat similiar level of leanness - always wondered how I might do in a physique comp. Damn orange people at the Arnold pretty much ruined it for me, though.
