Fish Skin

As a bodybuilder I love to eat fish and derive the health benefits from it, but I was wondering if it is necessary to eat the skin? I am not a big fan of any skin - be it fish or chicken. I have never thought about it until recently and thought I could potentially missing out on a large content of healthy fats, as well as omega 3.

I generally avoid the skin because I was told that’s where most of the mercury and toxins that fish get exposed to is concentrated.
