I just started Starting Strength, after reading for a few hours (book is very detailed). I am 6 ft, 175 pounds, and these are my starting numbers (5RM):
Bench: 115 pounds
Squat: 145 pounds
Deadlift: 185 pounds
Press: Unsure, finding out on Friday
Power Clean: I think 115 pounds, finding out exactly on Friday
I’m starting off by only doing Workout A then B this week, next week and for the rest of the time I will do 3 workouts a week. Reason for this is I want to lift M/W/F but I started on Wensday, so I figured it’s better to start now then wait.
I will be trying to make 5lb increases to all the lifts (maybe 10 lb for Deadlift) each time I perform the lift. So hopefully, I will add 15 pounds a week to squat, 5-10 to bench, and 5-20 for Deadlift. Can anyone inform me as to if this is possible with the PC and press, because I don’t think its possible for that much increase with those.

Felt good, squat seemed hard on last set, but thats okay. Focusing hard on form during squats, hard to tell if im parallel or not.
