me and my close buddy are thinking about trying to get an edge and using the performance enhancer called Dianabol. We both weight about 215 and have been lifting heavily. unfortunately we haven’t gained any weight but we are stronger. with the prohormone ban, there is nothing that we can get to give us a little boost besides this Dianabol we’re going to get. the guy said we we’ll take it three days a week, and the pills are 55mg. are we able to take just dianabol or do we need to get other things, and if so do we need an estrogen blocker, what do you guys say about this
Are you saying you’re going to use a substance that is banned by your sport to gain an edge over the competition? Fuck you, dude.
You can still get an edge and not cheat.
It’s called training smart which most of the competition doesn’t do.
I hate to play sissy but… cheating like that is just plain pathetic.

Remove “performance enhancer” and insert “illegal anabolic steriod”. Seriously dude, how old are you, how do you train, what do you eat, what are your stats? If you are getting stronger but not heavier, you probably should just increase your calories and protein intake.
Give us some background to work with.

I say you need to do much more research before you start throwing back pills. This information is not hard to come by, and it would do you well to research it yourself rather than having the guys here spoon-feed it to you.
Dude you know wha i did when i decided i wanted to play college football, i busted my ass and put on 50 lbs naturally.
On top of what the other guys said. There is this thing that, if you really ARE a college football player, is called a drug test. Do what you are planning and you will no longer BE a college football player.
Work hard. Eat smart. Focus. Study.
Don’t waste a great opportunity to get a college education by getting tossed for cheating.
Why do non-steroid users feel the need to post in the steroid forum and tell others that they shouldn’t do them. I can only assume a non-user would come here to educate themselves, which is what this poster needs to do. Granted, this is a pretty stupid, unresearched question but that is not a reason for the haters to pop off. Tell the kid that he needs to learn more like RIT did, but leave out the rest N’k?
So, on to the stupid question…D-bol is “usually” taken in amounts of 25-50mg/day and typically comes in tabs that are 5-10mg. The dosage is spread throughout the day as evenly as possible. I don’t see any logic in only taking the drugs for only three days a week, unless it is to take it easy on your liver. As Bushboy mentioned, a 55mg tab probably doesn’t exist and it is likely that this supplier of yours is as uninformed as you are. D-bol is typically stacked with something else but may be a good choice for an athlete because I believe it has a short half-life(meaning it is not in your system very long).
Anyways, you need to seriously reconsider your plans and please inform yourself before taking illegal drugs.
And enjoy your moonface!

My reply was directed more at the fact he is a college football player and the violation of NCAA rules would have any scholorships revoked.
Not as much an anti-steroid statement as it is a matter of timing. I wouldn’t think it is a wise career move right now ESPECIALLY in light of the current microscope that AAS is under in the sports world.
More people using steroids to “cheat” in major sports will equal more damned regulation of supplements for those of us outside of the major sports arena (which also equals more bullshit for companies like Biotest).
Remember that the guys on Capitol Hill think that creatine and protein powders are “steroids”.
alright heres some background for you i have a bunch of friends that are playing football and they all are juicing, they get by the ncaa. as a result, everyone we’re playing has an edge. over winter ours was 1-ad and proturinabol. now that these aren’t available, we need something, i really dont want to go that way considering i grew up in a gym with people who have kept me away from juice.
both me and my friend have gained about 25lbs since the beginning of the year, but that was somewhat quickly and for the last month or two our weight has been staying the same. is there another type of product that will act like a prohormone or give us some good mass over the counter?
ps. i’d personally like to say i did all my gains clean
Taking d-bol 3 times a week is going to make your blood levels fluctuate badly. You do not want this. Take it every day.
If you could stack it with anything intelligently in a short cycle, you might choose Primobolan, but that’s just me. Using d-bol by itself is probably not going to keep much gains on you.

First, fuck you. You and your little roided out freaks who I have to train twice as hard to compete with on the football field absolutely infuriate me. I’ve contemplated time and time again to take the easy way out and start roiding, but I’ve thought that shit thru and you need to as well.
So what if many on the field are juiced, that should give you even more satisfaction when you beat them. You and I both know how easy it is to get around the NCAA tests, but that shouldn’t be an excuse for taking steroids. For one, THEY ARE ILLEGAL. For two, it’s cheating, flat out. Eat right, train smart, so prohormones were a great thing yes, but they are gone now. Get over it. AAS are not the answer. Steroids should be reserved for experienced lifters, BB’ers, etc… not 20 sometihng year old athletes who haven’t even hit their prime yet.

Stop generalizing. I as much as the next guy hope that RainJack has great success with his cycle. I do beleive that roids have a time and place in our society. I do not however beleive that that place is on the athletic field, especially if it’s MY athletic field (assuming dodo up there is D1).
It’s cheating and its incredibley demoralizing when you work twice, if not three times as hard as a person but you cannot achieve their results in such a short period of time because you yourself do not take steroids. I don’t even speak to the few teammates of mine that do and they are quite aware of that. If he was some guy with 10 years of lifting experience, had a decent background, and wanted to get started with AAS (ala RJ), then by all means I wish him the best of luck and success. But this “I’m 20 and play football and there is nomore AD-1 and now I want to do D-bol” statement is absolute total bullshit.
I just finished my last year of college football, and I got to say that I was surrounded by guys that were juicing. The biggest diffrence though was that they none of them were starters. Roids do not take up the place of talent and and they will not give you a nose for the ball. A friend of mine was all roided out, he looked awesome, and put up great numbers in the weight room, but he was just a back up deep snapper. Train hard. NO SHORT CUTS

Then why are you using steroids?
Have you even thought about why you play the game? If you loved it, you wouldn’t even think about short cuts like this.I hope you get caught.
I agree with Hoosierdaddy. I’ve stayed natural too being at a pac-10 school.
AAS are rampant in college football. I don’t have a problem with people who use and I haven’t used because I haven’t needed to yet because of having one of the top strength coaches in the world here. You do what you gotta do to play. Most of the time drugs help the genetically ungifted, but as i’ve seen time and time again, imagine what happens when a genetic freak on the football field starts using aas. If you’re not a player or in their position, you can’t really validly comment on this because you just don’t understand.

I am- You are extremely ignorant.
Speed’s right on the money. The juice is rampant in the NCAA and the testing isn’t hard to beat, but through proper training, diet and supplementation you can get to where you need to without the incremental risk. Additionally the guys that stay natural tend to hold their size much better than those that go anabolic. Think it over and do what feels right.
