First-time post/ background

First-time post

I will start doing a post once a week to share some thoughts / or progress based on my training.

Training background:

Ups and downs since 2020. I made a few gains but lost them all because I stopped training for over two years.

2024 was the restart year. I’ve been consistent since then.

Personal / Gym numbers:

5’11" / 170 lbs

Bench: 185 x 2

Squat: 242 x 1

Deadlift: 330 x 1

The big goal is to go up in weight to around 185 lbs, while being able to keep my athleticism.

For gym numbers, I just wanted that 225 bench and the 315 squat — that’s the goal for now.

Training-wise, I am currently doing a WS4SB (Skinny Bastards)

See youu soon :call_me_hand:

Rather than posting once a week, start a training log to track your training daily (or however often you train). It’s also a good place to reflect and share thoughts with what’s working, and your approach.

Nice comeback honestly, getting consistent after two years off is harder than the lifts themselves.

Yes, that’s a good point of view.

I might take your opinion. Today I’m going to publish about this week’s training, and then next week I will increse the post for training

Thank you, it was difficult yhee come from 0

But in 2024 it was my New Year’s resolution, and I actually managed to keep it. Today I already miss it when I can’t follow through because of life things.

Lets keep up :flexed_biceps:

Welcome. There are a lot of folks here, probably excluding me, who can give you worth while pointers. Out of curiosity, how old are you currently? What was the difference between 2024 and the lead up from 2020? Granted the COVID might have blocked in the way. (I have no idea… just wonder.)

Anyway, this is a good crowd. Accepting is the term I would use. I look forward to seeing your post workout posts and your progress.
