The reason I started this thread was to learn more about gh I appreciate your input so what would you suggest I do to maximize gains while in between cycle. I feel I’ve done all that I can do as far as diet and exercise. It didn’t use to be like this in my 20s maybe I’m just getting older and have to except this will happen in between cycles. I didn’t use to lose this much muscle in between and I definitely didn’t put on fat in between. maybe my injury played into this. I want to do whatever it takes to maximize gains.

that’s why most guys end up transitioning to blast n cruise protocols to keep as much muscle on as possible, or just realize that when you come off heavy AAS doses you’re gonna lose some of that muscle that you’ve been “propping up” with the meds, if that makes sense.
Cycling has never been the optimal approach. Blast and cruise is. You never come off. You cruise on around 150-250mgs of test a week depending on your size.
I was unclear I had been cruising until last week on 200 test c/week for 3 months prior. Now I’m blasting again but after this cycle I wanted to give myself a break from the test too After this blast. that was why I had an interest in gh as an option. that’s why I was looking for insight. Like I stated I don’t know shit about hgh. Maybe what I’m doing is enough for now.
You shouldnt lose any gains on 200mgs a week, at least not in a few months. In a few years maybe.
If you are losing muscle on a cruise then there is a diet or training problem.
And this will make you lose gains.
Either you are on, or you are off. If you want serious results, you need to be on a blast more than you are on a cruise. If you are ok with slow gains and you are more into all that health stuff, then doing a cruise as long as a blast is ok.
Never in no way, should you ever go off the test. 200mgs is smth you can take till the day you die. Ok, maybe when you are around 60+ you can drop it to 125mgs or smth, but never should a male come off the test unless he is 20.
I am not deeply acquainted with the intake of preparations, but since I started reading here it seems more and more complicated. However, if I understood correctly, it is that once you start testosterone therapy, you should not stop it for the rest of your life, right? I’m talking if you are, for example, a man aged 40-45 +
But if something does not affect you well and has bad side effects, you still need to stop taking it.
Testosterone is very important for quality of life as we age. Levels of test decline when we reach 25 years, and by the time we are older, for some people its so low, even our bones suffer.
I believe that most modern doctors would agree that supplementing test after the age of 30-35 is a healthy idea.
That is why when i started taking steroids i had no problem with blasting and cruising as i never planed on comming off. It destroys your hormonal balance to do so. I remember when i used to cycle when i was like 18… the period off was horrible physically and emotionally.
Anyways, if you want to live this lifestyle, blast and cruise for as long as you can/want and then stay on TRT at a dose that is healthy for you.
Comming completely off at some point means giving up EVEREYTHING why you did all this in the first place, which doesnt make any sense. You risk your health, you do something for 20 years and then you just ctrl+a+del it all… why do it in the first place?

I don’t know what a blast is and what a cruise is. On the other hand, I am hypertensive and have a slightly hypertrophied left ventricle of the heart from the years of high blood pressure, which I did not always control because I felt good. But otherwise, according to the doctors, I have a fully functional heart. However, this has stopped me and still stops me from trying an anabolic steroid. If I didn’t have these problems, I would have touched them a long time ago. On the other hand, there are no quality specialists in my country who can give you good testosterone therapy accompanied by the relevant medical tests. Many people have advised me not to start one because our doctors are not good at it.
Blast is when you take a LOT of steroids to gain, and cruise is when you take less, so your body gets a rest, and you just maintain gains.
Anyways, doing anything is a personal choice. When i was around 20-22 i got a heart attack and doctors found a 90% stenosis in my left coronary arthery. Probably genetic but who knows. They put me on some medicine for the rest of my life, i have to monitor my health and abstain from serious stress to the heart and body.
Since then i have trained and become a decent fighter, i have done years of super intense training, i have become an instructor of close combat in military and for civilians, and i have abused the fuck out of steroids. Because my choice was - if i die, i die doing what i love. 10 years have passed, did all the check ups, everything is fine. I can only thank god that i had enough brain to just do what i wanted to do and not live a life i would have hated.
Im not saying you should as i dont even know if you share the same passion - most people dont. For me - id rather die trying than live a life of being average. But i would be happy if i could just NOT want these things.

If I understood correctly, the advice is to do a typical bodybuilding steroid cycle, which should be maintained as much as possible without stopping and then go to about 200 or 150 milligrams per week /respectively to about 125 milligrams now if you are older/, to be maintained for the rest of your life.
What do you mean by this? If you mean open bodybuilding competitor type cycle followed 150-200 mg/wk test, I think no. It isn’t enough on the cruise to maintain the gains from big blasts (cycles).
IMO, the more you use blasting (cycling), the more you use cruising (still a lot less than the blast though). Some of this comes down to how much bigger you are than your potential is.
If you are already dealing with high BP, get that in check before going down this road. AAS will make BP higher in general.
I have no intention of starting a steroid cycle or testosterone therapy. I just didn’t understand what was meant by a blast and a cruise. Which lasts for how long and how it is done.
Excluding my much weaker erection at this age, I generally feel good. I drink alcohol, smoke cigarettes and sleep for about 6-6.30 hours a day and train at least 3 times a week. I dont have a problem. Surely if I give up the harmful vices I will be even better. Therefore, I do not think I need steroids at least at this stage.
The cigs and AAS combo is terrible IMO. More so that alcohol. Cigs do more than just harm the lungs. The harden arteries which raises BP. I think they can negatively impact the heart directly. Just nicotine in general raises BP and heart rate (although, nicotine on it’s own is not nearly as bad as cig smoking).
I’d suggest you try to cut that out if you can. It is difficult.
I like a complete idiot started in my mid 20s. Few cigs at a party here and there. Got into smoking the cheap cigars and inhaling them. Started just at parties, but then over time got to smoking two of them a day. Got off of that relatively easily when I switched to vaping, but couldn’t quit all together. Now I am off the vape and use nicotine pouches. They are probably one of the safer ways to get nicotine, but still they increase BP and heart rate, and are probably not great on the gums / mouth.
I will say going from smoking → vape → pouches wasn’t all that hard. I can’t recommend the vape middle step though. It did get me off smoking, but I was doing it all the time.
I think quitting smoking would probably help with erection quality.
