Just thought I’d update as I stopped updating a while ago. After my cycle I finished with my lifts as this
Bench press 1x6 @ 302lbs
Back squat 1x8 @ 420lbs
Deadlift 550lb for a single
Pull ups 6 reps with 120lb attached
All other lifts massively up aswell. I want to thank the few people who were supportive. To the many people that gave me crap and said I would fail my cycle or questioned my work ethic I say up yours you assholes I proved you wrong. I didn’t pct after cycle and stayed on a TRT dose and have maintained most my lifts. Next cycle will be in a couple month after I get bloods checked. Thanks for reading
I would let me work and results speak for themselves, you come off as a petulant bitch with a fragile ego when you say stuff like this.
Otherwise, good job man, hard work pays off.
EDIT: I skimmed back through your thread and you seemed to be cordial and receptive up to input until your very last post. What changed? Why are you mad all of a sudden
Not mad In any way but the way some people commented in the beginning was out of order and would have demotivated alot of other people. Forums like this should be used to support people. I understand alot of people might not have agreed with me starting a cycle but there are ways to word things and once the cycle was started if they had no advice to say they should have said nothing rather than continuing to criticize. I think it’s obvious by my numbers that I made a success of my cycle and that was just with a simple 500mg test e cycle. Anyways onwards and upwards and I’ll be around on this forum to show support and take part in a positive way
Not got any before because the negativity made me delete them and I just focused solely on my training and eating but there’s a massive difference. Wish I didn’t delete them. I’ll get wife to take pictures tonight of my current condition. Managed to keep fairly lean despite hammering the food
No offense, but you are not going to prove anybody wrong until three months after your cycle minimum. Everybody is going to be bigger at the end of cycle, even those who don’t lift. There are plenty of studies showing increase in lean mass on high Test without even working out. The point is… will you hold your gains in three+ months or revert back?
The reason we advocate for somebody to be ‘ready’ is because most of us have seen more failures cycling than successes. I’ve seen dozens of guys that were once swole from AAS use that look horrible today. AAS should be for lifers that have proven they know how to train and eat properly. Otherwise its rented muscle and a detriment to your health for nothing.
I hope that all makes sense. I would be very interested for you to report back before your next cycle to let us know if you have retained your new muscle.
I agree with what you’re saying. It’s a lifestyle for me now though. Diet and gym is just a natural part of my life. I’ll definitely report back in a few month. Will be sticking around on the forum now anyways
LOL I think us short legged guys are better at squating. I hit my first 500lb squat without gear. I was frequently doing 3 sets of 10 reps at 405 as well with proper depth. Everybody always said ‘if I were five and a half feet tall I could do it too’. I love it when guys 6" taller than me make excuses.
I also have short legs. However injuries to my knees and hips make it very difficult to squat consistently
I can probs do 140kg for 1. My deadlift is much higher, im trying to hit 5 plates (before hernia op i was almost there) but now im kinda just happy to maintain at the 4.5 plate range.
For my weight thats a decent number.
Ive been focusing on OHP/bench recently, but ive had to drop ohp for landmine pressing as boxing + OHP 2x/wk + bench 2x/wk is just too much for my shoulders/rotator cuffs to handle.
I’ve been luck until recently. I screwed up my shoulder so I had an MRI and results don’t look great to me. Here they are. I have a follow up with the Ortho soon. Whats really helped me is Mobic (Meloxicam) at 7.5mg. It has cut all the inflammation down so I’m 95% pain free.
I’m over 6’ tall and I used to make that excuse too. Then I realized it was just me trying to compensate for being weaker than other guys that were shorter than me.
Lifting is all relative. I don’t believe height has as much to do with it as body proportions (body part size/length relative to other parts of your body) to maximize leverages. And muscle insertion point play a huge part in it too. But both of those things are controlled strictly be genetics.
There’s no real point to me saying this other than the fact that I’m rambling
