First Post/First Show Aprill 2009

I’ve been lurking for a while and finally decided to join the board so I figured this was the best way to introduce myself. I started competing this year after I stopped playing college football last fall these are from my first show in April.

Very nice phyisque only problem i would say is your back needs to be thicker other then that very nice i gief you 7

I’m not in a position to give feedback since I am light years away from you physique-wise. Although you could use some more separation on your legs, everything else looks really good and inspiring. Might be a stretch but could you outline the specifics of how you train? Always good to know how the successful guys train:)

How old are you?

I am 23 years old, I was 22 when those pictures were taken. I will post my workout and diet tommorow

Looking fucking sweet man. Shit.

Welcome, hope ya stick around.

That’s pretty sweet, I don’t have enough of an eye to give you any real criticism except that in your back double bi it looks like you need to focus on spreading your scapula as far as you can. But that could just be due to bad timing of the picture.

Great abs, arms and shoulders!!! Legs and back would be your weak areas if that!! I hope to do my 1st contest in June, How about some pointers??

Your legs are certainly not weak. They are right on par with where the rest of your physique should be. Your arms are miles ahead of the rest of you and look to be a genetic strong point. That’s a good thing but to be successful you will need better proportion.

Your back needs a lot a lot of work. Width and thickness is not there. Your posing is not helping at all but it’s still clear that your lats don’t pop enough.

Your chest is the next major part that could be improved. You have a broad chest but it is shallow. You’ll need to build the top of it, the clavicular head, a lot to get the round fullness you need.

Work on that posing. You have a good physique and need to present it better. The side tri pose shhould have your arm perpendicular to the ground, not out at that ~30 degree angle. Rear double bi you need to spread your scapulae so you can flare your lats. The angle of the pic is not great but you also need to rotate your upper arms backwards so you can see the peak of your bicep. Afterall the back double bi is an arm pose that shows back musculature, not a back pose that shows arms. If that makes any sense.

And of course you can never be too lean, but that comes with experience.

Very good for a first show, though. Well done.

Good work man. You have awesome triceps, just need more thickness in the back. Impressive though. I look forward to seeing your arm workout
