Ive decided to try my first cycle (mass) and have been doin some research (mainly looking into test) does anybody have any suggestions as to the cycle or steroid of preference (preferably oral)

Hey Dean,
At 6’2" and 170 many will tell you to wait before using. Now at 18 almost everyone will tell you to wait before using. Only if you had a realistic chance of making money at a pro sport would I feel okay telling you to use.
Why not wait until you’re about 22 before using and read all you can here at t-mag.
Try Joe D’s westside for skinny bastards and read up on all kinds of westside training. Also read John Berardi’s massive eating.
Then in a few years you can consider using anabolics. Also, consider using injectables at that time. Are you an aspiring pro athelete?

Get your protein consumption up 1st. Get you diet dialed in after that.
I doubt you’ll get a lot of cycle advice at 18yrs old and taking in 180g of protein per day. I could be wrong about that though.

Listen to what these other guys have told you! at your current height and weight you are a twig! Learn how to train and how to eat first before you touch steroids. Learn about using basic supplements as well. You don’t even know anything about how to do steroids but the scary thing is never mind them you don’t even know how to train correctly or eat well! I have been training for 14 years, and didn’t resort to steroids untill less than 2 years ago. When I was sure I had maxed out my genetic potential. Granted I could have begun a few yrs earlier than I did, but when I did begin using steroids, I knew everything I possibly needed to know about them in order to take them safely and correctly. I also had years of training behind me and already looked better than most steroid users. I suggest you learn a lot and mature a bit before getting into this.
Dean what’s up with the preferably oral statement? Especially if you’re thinking of using TEST. If you really have been reading, then you’d know that all oral forms of test are not comparable with injectable, unless you perhaps take very high dosages and then it’s not even worth your money. In my opinion. I agree with the other guys, read Berardi…no, don’t just read, practice Berardi and you’ll be much more pleased with your long term results compared to a cycle of drugs at your age, and most importantly, your body composition. At 6’2" you should be somewhere over 230 at least before you consider using AAS. You have the frame to carry some mass. So use the food to put that mass on and it’ll stay there longer and you’ll have more money for taking out all the girls you’ll start pulling, if you’re into that. Honestly, wait, and stick around the boards and get your food intake optimized and workouts full throttle for a couple of years. Start with Berardi’s 7 Habits article for nutrition and maybe some Chad Waterbury training programs. Waterbury’s programs will in my opinion offer some nice quality muscle gains. Best wishes, chuck
thanks for the advice. After my last post i got on berardis massive eating plan and have upped my protein intake to almost double what it was.
Scrappy, pro athlete, i wish! But college athlete yes. This was mainly the reason behind the want to use steroids. For my size im gaining great strength gains but am still lacking the size recruiters want to see.

Dean, take it from a fellow 6’2" ex skinny guy, you need to wait. While it seems hopeless at first you will gain weight pretty fast once you get your diet and training dialed in. The key for me to put on size was deadlifts, something tall guy’s are usually pretty good at, squats, bench, BB rows and military press. Combine that with massive eating and you will grow. As far as your first cycle, at 170lbs you are not even close to big enough. I’ve weighed as much as 214 at 6’2" and even that isn’t really big. Work hard and be consistent and good things will happen.
