First Cycle Results...

Week 1-12 250mg/week Deca, 450mg/week test blend
Week 1-5 dbol 30mg/day

I was 6’4 and 177lbs at the start of the cycle
4 weeks in i was 200lbs
10 weeks in i was at 215lbs

-The last two week and following 4 weeks after that i had 2 brutal flu’s one after another and went from 215lbs down to 200lbs. I am 6 weeks since ending the cycle and am still 200lbs. Sucks that i got so sick plus broke my foot… otherwise i think i would be around the 210lbs marker.

-Interesting notes, as most people report an increase in sex drive I can at-test (no pun intended) to that. Humping inanimate objects became attractive but still unacceptable lol. After finishing the cycle and going on clomid i definately noticed a huge drop in libido, but after about 2 weeks i was back to normal but a far cry from being a raging humper like while being on test.

Also it makes you a little more emotional perhaps due to some conversion to estrogen (although i did go on proviron and novaldex in low dose).

-My body fat went from 16.9% at the start of the cycle and ended up at 11.7% at the end. Dramatic size and strength increases across the board.

-i also noticed some minor muscle cramping (lower back) while on dbol, but nothing major.

-My workout schedule was pretty minor. Although i went on average 4 times a week i rarely had workouts longer than an hour. Yet the results were dramatic. It should be noted however that i was doing 80-90% of my maximum lifts and small sets. Seemed to really do the trick.

-Overall it was a very good experience and the next cycle i do i plan to work much harder and eat better because i ate garbage and ate only when i was hungry (i did supplement protein though).

Anyhow, thought i would share. A gain of 38lbs is nothing to sneeze at.

Cheers,

That weight gain sounds about right for a first cycle.Congrats.As you hit a more solid weight though u will notice weight gain wont be nearly as high,10-15 per cycle is typical.

Skinny person (for someone who is 6’4) lifts for four hours a week while eating admittedly bad food “when hungry,” gains 40 pounds while bodyfat % goes from flabby to athletic.

And people are against using steroids before reaching genetic potential for what reason again?

Most of the weight you lost wasn’t muscle mass, so don’t count it as a gain.

And to answer FitnessFan’s question, it’s not so much because people think AAS should be a last resource, but rather because skinny people that know nothing about training and nutrition should learn about training and nutrition before they resort to AAS, seeing as they usually think it will make up for sloppiness everywhere else.

Amen Contrl!

I’m 6’4" myself and came out of college at around 175, was a cross country/track athlete. While I’m glad you got these results, I hope you don’t get lazy. At 36 y/o I am just now preparing for my FIRST cycle, and I weigh 265 lbs. The climb from 175 to 225 naturally only took me a year though. 200-225 took me 10 weeks while losing 1" on my waist using DiPasqual’s Anabolic Diet.

That’s just damn scary. You know how long it took me to reach 225? 6 YEARS. I hate you.

Also it makes you a little more emotional perhaps due to some conversion to estrogen (although i did go on proviron and novaldex in low dose).

At what point and how much Proviron and Nolvadex did you use?

Ha ha ha! Don’t forget I had these things working in my favor: a) I used to be a distance runner, so very little lifting and very skinny. b) I’m 6’4". 25 lbs was probably all in my legs. I was still skinny. Even now at 265 my arms are a measly 16" cold. Working on that though!

How much strength did you gain in your major lifts?

25mg/day nolva and 25mg every other day proviron. started at 4 weeks in.

Bench went from 185lbs to 265lbs

squats 225lbs to about 350lbs

Arms went from 13.5 to 16inches

Did you take before/after pics by any chance?

A 23lb actual gain, while dropping 5%BF and adding 2.5 inches to your biceps…

Smells of lie to me.

…ah, the internet, that magical fantasy land where everyone has 6% bodyfat, benches 405 for reps, and gains a minimum of 30lbs per cycle!

Yeah, these claims are starting to smell more and more of unwashed vagina. Especially those lift numbers and arm measurements. OP obviously didn’t know what he was doing when he started, if you read the numbers, so the gains don’t make any sense whatsoever. Especially while admittedly eating crap and employing a light workout schedule.

i second the call on bs, this seems to fishy

This is why I asked for before/after pics. However, if he really was a complete newbie and ate a lot (even if it was crap), something close to this isn’t too far fetched.

I know of people totally new to lifting who started using gear right off the bat, and they absolutely exploded (lots of people who start lifting for the first time explode anyway, so combined with proper steroid use…)

This is almost as bad as Jake’s claims of raw meat, alien gastrointestinal problems, and huge lifts…

But at the same time, assuming this is true, then congratulations sir.

However, I am firmly of the belief this is the purest of pure bullshit.

Lol. Why would i bother lying. Where does one think it will get them to lie on a forum? Oh maybe a dude will sleep with me. To bad im not gay. Cmon thats just stupid.

My overall gain was 23lbs, my peak gain was 38lbs. I may have held on to more but it was over 5 weeks before i could go back to the gym i was so ill. Pnemonia and a major Sinus infection so bad that the docs had to put me on morphine. Brutal crap. I tried going while sick but maybe went only 5 times.

My before and after measurements were done at the end of my cycle… i was 215lbs then. If i was to guess my arms right now are about 15inches (16 when i was 215lbs). Those lifts were when i was 215lbs. For example my max bench has dropped to 235lbs from 265lbs. But it is slowly climbing.

Didnt lie about a thing.

So, since you were so meticulous, you took before/after pics, right?

i didnt work out light. Read the post. I did very low reps and very high weight (90% of my maximum). I averaged 4 days a week (sometime 6 or 7 while other weeks 2-4) it depended on my business schedule.

When it comes to pics i dont have pics right at the start but i do have a pic of me at about 175-180lbs previously and then at about 205-210ish. I will try and find em and post em. There werent taken for the purpose of weight gain comparison but still shows the difference.

While working out i gained 20lbs in the first 3 1/2 weeks (probably due to the boost from dbol). By the time i was 8-10weeks in i hit a wall at 210-215lbs and couldnt seem to move past.

It is what it is, and it aint bullshit. Although honestly i could care less. I posted because people like to know cycle results and a given cycle, especially newbies. I posted because i respect this site and for the most part the people on it. They offer very good advice typically, even contlr.

If i wanted to look good on the forum i would say i worked my ass of and ate great and all this extreme dedication gave me this result. I kinda figured i would get people calling bullshit… or i like the one about skinny guys not knowing about nutrition or how to work out. BSc major and sports medicine kinda gave me a firm background there.

Now i just want to cut out some fat (obviously requires a regimented diet regime) from 13 which i am currently at to about 7-8%. Started mma, and holy crap do i suck and holy crap no endurance. lol. very humbling and good experience.
