Don’t. You should be able to grow a lot on test alone at this point. Plus Winstrol will absolutely murder your joints. Anavar is great for certain things, but it’s expensive as all Hell. And if you’ve found a source that can get it for you and it’s not expensive then it’s probably counterfeit. Unless you’re going to change your plans and drop sports in favor of competitive bodybuilding then you don’t need either of those orals. I know you didn’t mention it, but I’ll answer the question before you ask it: dbol is great for strength, but a guy your size taking it at the end of a cycle will probably blow up and you’ll absolutely look like you’re on something. Discretion is the better part of valor.
Thanks for the advice brother. Do you think I should bulk up and cut at the end of the cycle, or just bulk the whole cycle? I’ve been counting calories for the past few months, and landing somewhere around 3600-3700 daily, with 300 grams of protein. I really want to lean up to like 15% or so, which was why I was considering the winny. I’m sure I could do this with diet and cardio alone, but I want some opinions on it.
Also about to max on bench tomorrow, we will see if this test has kicked in a bit by the way, my weight has jumped up to 280!!
So based on your size and a few other pieces of information I’m guessing you’re a defensive end? If that’s the case then I’d imagine being a little lighter would be helpful during the season. If you’re O-line then maybe having the extra size is useful. I’m also guessing that when you get into the summer and you start practice you’ll be doing a shitload more cardio than weightlifting, just by default. So if that’s the case then maybe you just keep your bulk running for the rest of the cycle. I don’t know. You know what your life will be like for the next six months better than anyone here, so make your plans accordingly.
Again, thanks for the great advice iron. They aren’t sure whether to put me on Oline or as a D end right now, but I would much rather be a D end so I might as well start training for that.
I would like my body fat to get down to 15-13%, so I can move better and be more agile. So I’ve decided to cut my cals down to about 26-2700, protein up to 300g religiously. Thank god for myfitnesspal! Today was day 1 of the cut, feeling a bit lethargic now at the end but I burned probably 500 calories during cardio and an intense bench max sesh. I started off with 135x15, then 185x10, 225x6, then went on to 255x3, 275x1, 285x1, and then 290. I got it easily, whereas last time I barely got it up. I went for 300 and almost got it, but it stuck right when my tri’s engaged. Next time… I did some db fly’s, then db incline press, tricep pulldowns, lateral dumbell raises, then finished it off with some straight bar curls and pullups. Honestly my pumps are getting pretty insane, and all the weights felt really light today. Can’t wait until week 3 when it really starts kicking in.
Keep it up with the questions/advice, it’s helping me stay motivated and keep on track. Weighed in at 280 again, I’ll update when I see more results or until next pin.
Starting to get the hang of this now. Entering into week 3, every day I walk into the gym the weights feel lighter and lighter.
Having some insomnia, easily manageable with diphenhydramine. But I had an interesting side yesterday. I woke up a little late, so I drank a protein shake instead of my usual breakfast and went on with my day. About 30 mins later I started feeling some serious anxiety, which is odd because I am normally an extremely confident person. Then pins and needles in my legs, I got lightheaded, and felt like I was going to pass out. After I ate lunch, everything went away. I’m going to attribute this to low blood sugar. I ate some complex carbs this morning and felt great the whole day. I believe it is just the test starting to affect my insulin levels, and ramp up my metabolism. I would rather not risk diabetes…
Got sick yesterday, skipped the gym but went today. I killed it even while feeling like shit, and got some PR’s… However I constantly had a headache in the gym. Got home, decided to check my blood pressure and it was 160/80, sat down for 10 mins without moving before hand. I’m scared to know what it was when I was lifting… I’m going to chalk this up to the dayquil I’m taking, and also the preworkout I had before hitting the gym. I’m going to get it monitored daily from now on, since that is pretty damn high. Also lowering sodium and cutting out all cold meds I’m taking,and not gonna take preworkout anymore. Any tips for lowering blood pressure would GREATLY be appreciated. Otherwise cycle going well!
Pin #8 tomorrow! Just recovering from a nasty bugger of a sickness, missed about 4 gym days and could hardly shove in 2000 calories a day, and nowhere near 300 grams of protein. I probably got 150 most days if that. Even so, I came back strong middle of this week, and just PR’d on bench. This stuff is kicking in for sure. Getting crazy pumps lately. Setting pr’s every workout!
Does anybody have any advice for low ish libido? I can get it up if I try, but I’m not what I was like before cycle, and surely not what I see other people like on cycle. I’m pretty sure my E is good, since I’m noticing little if any bloat, and other symptoms of high E, and no symptoms of low e… not really sure what’s the culprit here. I feel like I’m talking to myself lately. Someone come and join the fun!
I admit I enjoy reading your updates. Glad it’s working out for you thus far. Time away from the gym when sick sucks. You started something so make sure you finish strong. Keep it up.
I believe this is pin # 13 today! Sorry, been awhile since I updated. I’ve continued eating good, and also training very hard. I have definitely gotten bigger and stronger, PR’d in every lift, but to be completely honest this is sort of underwhelming!! I thought I was going to shatter my previous records. I’m still making gains way faster than natty, so I don’t really have any issues with it. I weighed in at an average of 268 this past week, lost bodyfat and gained muscle. Cycle was thrown off track a bit when I got sick, dropped from high 270’s low 280’s to like 265, but gained back up to 270 and have stayed around there for awhile. Cardio is 3x weekly about 15-25 minutes, burn around 200-300 calories per session. I’m still eating the same diet.
